I live for the day when Google get's broken up and parts are sold off for tax violations and anti-trust rules or trump just doesn't like the cut of its jib.

I've tried DuckDuckGo a few times. It's OK, I guess. Politically and ethically it's superior to Google, but pragmatically not so much. Often, when I'm fact-checking, it helps to see the number of hits; that can indicate that I'm on the right track, and can help to verify, for example, the proper spelling of a person's name. But DuckDuckGo lacks that feature.
