I think it was either Carl Jung or Leroy Jethro Gibbs who said "There is no such thing as a coincidence."

I would say that I'm never eating at McDonald's again because of this but I already haven't eaten there since 1989. Their "food" is vile.

Oh, Heck, it isn't so much that their food is "vile"; I rather like some of their stuff; I used to like to take home QP or a double cheeseburger and eat it with blue cheese dressing. I can still make a much better burger myself, just not as quickly or conveniently. But what irks me most about McDonald's is that their commercials seem to indicate that their preferred customers are "ghetto dwellers"; notice their social situations, notice how the people in their commercials hold their food with their hands, not with their fingers (people shown in KFC commercials do the same thing). They're not aiming their commercials at me, and it stands to reason that they'd have people from the Obama administration in their "communications" dept.

Easy choice for me; Doc says "No Mickey D's for you."
If I'm gonna break Doc's orders, I'm gonna break it at a place that appreciates my business. - 3/18/17, 2:00 AM

It occurs to me that even a small loss for even low cost drive in resturant chain could put them under.
Technology could develop the drone delivered mail order hamburger that you just open and it heats up....euh, airborne MRE, - 3/18/17, 3:56 AM

I rarely eat at or from McD's. If I want a burger from a fast food place, I get In-N-Out burgers. Sad to say it's just a western thing. The burgers are very good, their menu is very short (no staring at a huge board if you go inside), and they have a streamlined order operation. I've been at one with a very long line, but they have an order taker with an electronic tablet that gets orders in in a real hurry. Those long car lines are never a big delay. I really like the place.
