NO SENSE OF HUMOR?



The president responded to reports that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called him a “moron” with a joke: “I think it’s fake news,” he said, “but if he did that, I guess we’ll have to compare IQ tests. And I can tell you who is going to win.” The media completely missed the fact that this was joke, and Sarah Huckabee Sanders had to call out an NBC reporter in today’s press briefing for taking Trump’s comments too literally. Why is it that everyone else on this planet can have a sense of humor except the President of the United States?

The best ever Presidential joke, short of Jimmy Carter, came August 11, 1984, when Ronald Regan said "My fellow Americans. I’m pleased to announce that I’ve signed legislation outlawing the Soviet Union. We begin bombing in five minutes."

Every reporter present either had a cow or kittens because they KNEW the bombers were on the way! President Regan had a good laugh, the press looked foolish, and the Russians were in deep fear that the rumors about Regan's senility were true.

The never Trumpers jump at that stuff because they want so very, very desperately for it to be true so they can say "Na na boo boo I told you so."
