Many of us have noted with dismay the similarities between the Democrat Party since 1974, and longstanding rhetoric and actions by World Communists. Cuzzin Ricky found The Naked Communist written in 1958 by the late W. Cleon Skousen.   The following is the list of Communist goals contained in that book written 52 years ago. 1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war. 2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war. 3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength. 4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war. 5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites. 6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination. 7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N. 8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N. 9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress. 10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N. 11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. 12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party. 13. Do away with all loyalty oaths. 14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office. 15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States. 16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights. 17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks. 18. Gain control of all student newspapers. 19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack. 20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions. 21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures. 22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. Skousen claimed that an American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms." 23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. 24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press. 25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV. 26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy." Skousen claimed Communists sought to encourage the practice of masturbation. 27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch." 28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state." 29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis. 30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man." 31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over. 32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc. 33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus. 34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities. 35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI. 36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions. 37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business. 38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand or treat. 39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals. 40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity, masturbation and easy divorce. 41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents. 42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use "united force" to solve economic, political or social problems. 43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government. 44. Internationalize the Panama Canal. 45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike. So, how do you think they've done so far?

Organizations including the Service Employees International Union, the Sierra Club and the National Education Association are spending [....] I like this story of how the hard left, including Obama, are  trying to save Tom Perriello, a freshman Democrat who is seeking a second term in a conservative-leaning district, against actual conservative GOP state Sen. Robert Hurt.  I'm speaking of the Sierra Club's quite proper inclusion with other radical leftists, like SIEU and the NEA.  Too few people understand that  contributions to this eco-terrorist organization are an important resource for this current government. The Sierra Club will not be happy to be thus outed. If you're genuinely interested in animal husbandry, and gentle treatment of the environment, send money to outdoor sportsmen groups like the NRA.

When old-style Soviet Progressives, or any  progressives for that matter, show concern for my well-being,  it's a 100% guarantee that they feel threatened by something else.  My first thought must be that legalization of pot - which I'm against so long as the state has in place other controls over its citizen's behaviour, and its healthcare ....  my first thought is that local harvests will cause the illegal markets to collapse.  And that this somehow worries them. Somehow. My first solution, unfortunately, is to carpet nuke Russia and California.

Why doesn’t anyone care about the Soviet document archive?

That's what I think With our access to Soviet files after the USSR break-up, I wondered how it was that only Euro "journalists" were being outed as KGB assets?  I expected to have revealed an  Edward R. Murrow file.  It was Murrow who shaped CBS News by bringing in the likes of Walter Cronkite, whose own legacy continues to shape the networks anti-American politics to this day.    Ed Morrissey asked "When was the last time we saw a movie with a Communist villain?  1959?"  With all the films about how Joe McCarthy (who had nothing to do with Hollywood) persecuted the "Hollywood Ten," you'd think one would have documented that all of them were card carrying communists, ordered by the Comintern  to make sure Joe Stalin, or communism, was never portrayed negatively in film.  Gah, I'm getting wound up.  Read Morrissey. North Korean Camps, and Tea Parties

This short documentary is basically an interview with the only escapee from one of North Korea's most brutal prison camps, and the unspeakable horror he assumed was de rigeur, world-wide.  “ We were always hungry. Shins most vivid memory of his life in the camp is the constant hunger he felt, food made me escape, even if it was going to cost me my life. The only thing that interested me was the food. Before his escape three years ago, he didn't even know that a world existed beyond the barbed wires. Until then, his life had been one of torture, hard labour and complete isolation. ” After watching this, I got hooked on a series of 14 short (about 5mins)  films titled  The Vice Guide to North Korea (Part-1 link).   No way can I describe to you  how bizarrely interesting the series is. In one, part 6 I think, the film maker visits a tea house out in the sticks.  He notes that no other cars were seen on the road, and that he was the first customer the tea hostess had seen in ten months.  Yet she, and his "guides," played it all with earnestly straight faces.  I'm not trying to be snarky here, but at some point I was reminded of all the similarly bizarre goings-on in our own United States since c. 2000.  Stuff that made me think we'd slipped into a parallel world, with the government media blithely ignoring it all, la-la-la.   Very much in the spirit with this NorK scenario.  Prediction: A good many of you will be endlessly fascinated with both of these productions.  You're welcome.

Add to the list of Obama's radical left mentors, Communist party member and sexual pervert. Frank Marshall Davis. “ In his books, Obama admits attending "socialist conferences" and coming into contact with Marxist literature. But he ridicules the charge of being a "hard-core academic Marxist," which was made by his colorful and outspoken 2004 U.S. Senate opponent, Republican Alan Keyes. However, through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his "poetry" and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just "Frank." The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations.  (AIM) ” Marshall, Bill Ayers, Bernardine Rae Dohrn, Rev. Wright, Rev. Pfleger, and Louis Farrakhan. All professed haters of the United States, and all friends, associates and mentors to Barry Obama. The shoe everybody has been waiting for dropped. Russia's attack.on sovereign Georgia will get swift action from the UN who will order the New Soviet Union to cease hostilities immediately, or face  immediate UN military response. And pigs fly. I see this as the equivalent of Hitler's march into the Rhineland in 1936.  His purpose was to show the German general staff that Europe would do nothing.  You've read chapter two.  Here's what should happen, but won't - because, fer chrissake, most Americans won't even recognize that we're in a fight to the death with Islam, let alone commies like this, and China waiting in the wings. We're Rome, and the barbarians want a piece of us. Officially declare war against world fascists, including non Islamics who pose an immediate threat to our security. Put the nation on an all-out wartime footing.  No new 2009 Cadillacs, no new football stadia, no new toasters from Black and Decker.  But, tanks, cruise missiles, F-22s and F 35s,  bullets, satellite killers, drones, laser weaponry, uniforms and barracks. Prepare to draft and train 10 million men and women into the armed forces. Immediately begin the process to manufacture 100% of our war material and all components, and that includes oil. Suspend 100 percent of all environmental restrictions. Establish rigid control of media access to all military matters. Begin immediately to treat treason as treason.  You may not agree on my particulars, but in spirit you know I'm right. The United States will literally live, or die, depending on what we do now.  Not two generations from now.  Tomorrow. I know the obstacles.  In 1941 we only had one Jeannette Rankin in congress.  Today she's Speaker of the House, and in the majority.  Still doesn't change the prescription for survival though, only whether we swallow the pill.

In the email to the Journal, Mr. Hsu listed several Democratic politicians to whom he has given money, and said he has never asked any for favors. They include Pennsylvania Gov. Edward G. Rendell; New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine; Massachusetts Sen. Ted Kennedy; California Sen. Dianne Feinstein; and Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown. (WSJ) On his own, Mr. Hsu wrote checks totaling $255,970 to a variety of Democratic candidates and committees since 2004. Even though he was a bundler for Mrs. Clinton, his largess was spread across the Democratic Party and included $5,000 to the political action committee of Senator Barack Obama, Democrat of Illinois. Al Franken, a Democratic Senate candidate in Minnesota, said he would divest his campaign of Mr. Hsu’s donations, as did Representatives  Doris O. Matsui of California and Representative Joe Sestak of Pennsylvania, all Democrats. ” How much money has Mr. Hsu raised for Her Filthiness? “ Many "HillRaisers" -- people who rustle up at least $100,000 for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign -- are dwarfed beside Mr. Hsu (pronounced "Shu"). Several people involved in Democratic presidential fund-raising say Mr. Hsu, an apparel executive, has raised well over $1 million for the New York senator's presidential campaign, making him one of the top 20 Democratic fund-raisers in the country. The Clinton campaign doesn't disclose such details and declined to comment for this story. ” Wow, she sure does attract people who break the law for her, [can you say Peter Paul, or Harold Ickes and George Soros?] doesn't she? Of course, now that the lid is blown off this scam, what will Hillary do? “ Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign said yesterday that it would give to charity $23,000 it had received from a prominent Democratic donor, and review thousands of dollars more that he had raised, after learning that the authorities in California had a warrant for his arrest stemming from a 1991 fraud case. ” Isn't that nice?  She's going to review the rest of the  well over $1 million he funneled to her.  But who will  review the $950,000 earmark Hillary secured for the New School, where Hsu is a trustee?   At least Hillary didn't give away a guidance system to Hsu, so I guess we should be thankful.
