Win10 Must Die

Earlier in the week Win 10 managed to, well,  not delete all my image files; just their content.  I mean, everything.  And, on two back-up drives as well.  Yesterday I reached out to commenter Joe Wood.  He did magic. I am whole again.

When I downloaded the video used in the last post to drive "F," Win 10 put all of Drive F's files into a newly created Drive G, leaving the video as the sole occupant in Drive F.   This of course meant that all reference to programs in the Old Drive F are kaput.  Segue to this via my morning mail. “ About to install the Windows 10 April 2018 Update? Ode To Win 10

I'm holding my Win 10 box hostage.

I have an 8 ga. shotgun  pointed at this computer as we speak. I am not kidding. I can't live with this Win 10  crap.  But here's the thing. I had two Passport drives monitoring my computer for the past 4-5 years.  I expected  they would keep a backup.  If they did I can't find it, save for this 2014 recovery file that I just ran.  I ran ita few weeks ago, but nothing.While it says your restoration is complete, it's not. Like, nothing happened. l'm sitting on the same Win10 crap.  (sorry Joe; I had to at least try on a new 10m box before going totally regimental on the Win).  Any ideas?  Okay, what do I do next?
