"OMG," I thought, "I've been listening to
someone who cannot be taken seriously, and is not as cute as,
say, Molly Ivins in person!" I vomited in self disgust.
But wait ... the # 4Most Loathsome People is ... ME! |

Hey Rodge, are Democrats going to change the 'Jesusland' map, now that Canada went Conservative?

This explains the left's fixation and their ongoing need for abortion, Susan Estrich, they'd rather listen to her whine than hear a baby's cry.

As I was driving home last night, listening to the latest liberal sound bites on the evening newscast, a thought struck me:
The reason liberals are so dismayed by the likelyhood that Judge Alito will be on the Supreme Court is that they KNOW there is no basis in Constitutional law for "Abortion Rights"! They KNOW it!
No wonder they lose their minds every time a judge who might decide the merits of an argument based on LAW...they know damn well that the first time a good case against abortion-on-demand comes up, it will be found that there is no basis for it in the law of the land.
Maybe this seems obvious to some of you, but it was a sort of stroke from the blue for me. Under all the blather and bloviating about abortion, this simple fact is the nut of the matter. So, how come none of the conservatives are willing to point that out? - 1/26/06, 10:46 AM

Saint Ann said, "But both The New York Times and The Washington Post have recently run op-eds by liberals calling for Democrats to abandon their single-minded devotion to Roe v. Wade.'

But .... I *do* think that abortion is a state issue.
Interestingly enough, though, is that even though I probably have a different position on abortion than the host of this site (Roger) and most of his readers, I do not expect that I will be flamed, harrassed or hated. Conservatives really do allow for other points-of-view. If I were an anti-abortion Liberal posting a dissenting opinion on KOS (for example), I'd be attacked ruthlessly. - 1/27/06, 1:07 PM

I actually felt dumber after reading that list, until I realized that I was number 4, as well.
Now I feel inspired. - 1/27/06, 2:44 PM
