Usual Court Suspects

Ankle bites
About the 1832 U.S. Supreme Court decision (Worcester v. Georgia) that ruled that Georgia could not impose its laws upon Cherokee tribal lands, President AndrewJackson is often quoted as having said,

"John Marshall has made his decision, now let him enforce it!"

Wikipedia says Jackson never said it, but the point is made.  he well could have.  I'd love to see Bush do it for real after yesterday's court decision according al-Qaeda animals Geneva Convention rights, formerly accorded to signatory nations with legitimate armies.

Okay, The court's ''usual suspects'' didn't actually say anything ''about the legality of the detentions at Guantanamo, or the treatment of the prisoners, or tell the President he had no authority to set up military commissions no matter what,'' but they piss me off anyway. Grrrrr.
