Covert Enemies

Covert Enemies
Michael Barone has a nicer way of saying that in the war on terror we have both overt, and Our Covert Enemies.

Our covert enemies are harder to identify, for they live in large numbers within our midst. And in terms of intentions, they are not enemies in the sense that they consciously wish to destroy our society. On the contrary, they enjoy our freedoms and often call for their expansion. But they have also been working, over many years, to undermine faith in our society and confidence in its goodness. These covert enemies are those among our elites who have promoted the ideas labeled as multiculturalism, moral relativism and (the term is Professor Samuel Huntington's) transnationalism.
Put more bluntly, if you vote for Democrats, you are a covert enemy.  It means little to me anymore what your intentions are.

yes...
the truth...
and damn well said...

in fact, this is a good sign, although Mr. Barone is a Conservative, his professional demeanor used to prohibit such bold, simple explanations of the folly of the liberals...

the Libs would point to the fine Ms. Coulter and shout 'extreme' and many weak minded fools (like McCain) would share in the denial of the message.

but if more high profile respected Gents like Barone are revealing reality in bolder manners (yes, i would prefer even more blunt like Mr. S), it is a positive sign.
