Gas prices

Why We Win
$3.20/gal in San Francisco! Bwahaaaa
Mother Superior is in Virginia Beach with her School chums, and reported that Virgina Gas is $2.35/Gal. Now I see where it's 1.99 in Iowa. USA-UAS-USA!

In 1910, Gasoline cost $0.10 a gallon. That would be 1/200th of a one ounce $20 gold coin.

As of today, one ounce of gold costs $590. 1/200th of that is $2.95.

It looks like gas is getting cheaper than it ever was ...

In our neck of VA it's 2.23.

Did you ever think you'd see the day when that price got us excited?? Haha!

I remember when everyone was buying the VW Rabbit Diesal because gas was up to 76 cents under Carter. My boss at the time filled his from a fuel oil tank installed for that purpose. Of course, the gummint couldn't allow that.
