John Kerry is insane. Really

Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass. is determined not to be "Swift Boated" out of  the Presidency in 2008.

John F Kerry added to the WallKerry says the only reason he didn’t compete in more states in 2004 was that he ran out of money. He says this was also the reason he did not adequately respond to a series of devastating TV ads by Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth, a group that questioned Kerry’s service in Vietnam and criticized his later opposition to the war.

“They had money behind the lies, and we did not have sufficient money behind the truth,” Kerry laments.

Asked if he dreads the prospect of being “Swift-Boated” all over again, Kerry counters that he would relish such a fight.

“I’m prepared to kick their ass from one end of America to the other,” he declares. “I am so confident of my abilities to address that and to demolish it and to even turn it into a positive."

Kerry points out that his name was recently added to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington.  ''Let's see them attack someone who gave his life for his country.  I don't see any of their names on the Wall."

[Meet the Next President: Kerry's Second Shot]

When you're dealing with John Kerry, where does satire end and truth begin? Think about it, at least four of the past six Democrat presidential nominees are insane.

The hell he didn't have enough money. That lying asshole. I hope the SBVT can manage to get him indicted on treason charges this time around.

I've completely lost track of what happened with Kerry's SF 180 and release of his complete (except for certain parts of reserve service) military record. Last I heard was that he'd signed the forms and released the data to certain people, including himself, but not the general public.

I still can't understand any solid reason why he so steadfastly refused to release his records prior to the election if, in fact, they contained nothing casting serious aspersions on his military service. Makes him look (1) guilty of something or (2) stupid.

Anybody know what the record said? Or do we just assume the Carter administration reissue of his discharge purged anything injurious to his rep?

And why did the SBVFT people pull back from that issue if there was any meat on the bone?

I know a shitload of guys with military discharges, including my own, and NONE of them looks anything like the one Kerry got. Of course, all the ones I have seen were "Honorable".

I don't think I ever met anyone with a PH, a BS, and a SS who had any reservations whatsoever about letting people see his record. Of course none of them ever shot a wounded, unarmed teenager in the back or got a PH for a grain of rice in the butt and a fingernail scratch on the forearm. Come to think of it, none of the guys I know with those kinds of awards wrote their own citation, OR even recommended themSELVES!

JFK my ass! It is to puke.

Right, Jim. 1966 + 6 years = 1974. WTF??

I've got a feeling the Swifties didn't use all their ammunition the first time around.

Where, pray tell, do we start in nailing libtards for treason? It is SO prevalent among the left, the attempted destruction of our sovereign nation. Kerry would have continued the "Slick Willie" police action (ahem) against the terrorist scum. Equally as rewardingly, doubtless. When can we start a purge? After all, if W is Stalin reincarnated, purge is good.
