Defamation on the Net

Defaming

Please don't sue me
Does this mean I can no longer call Bill Clinton a raging sociopathic mental case; Hillary Clinton a flat-out-crook and liar; elected democrats liars with no integrity, Al Gore insane, John Kerry a total fraud  ...  ?  No, it does not, because I'd win those court defamation cases. They defamed themselves. I just can't call the Kos guy a dickless  baby molester -until  I have pictures of him doing it.  That seems fair.

You can defame public figures all you want. It is private citizens that have the protection. All the names you mentioned are public figures.

If you are referring to a private individual you better confine your remarks to stupid, dumb etc. Baby molester is out.

I dunno, I'd be careful if I were you, Rodger. A well-practiced trial attorney - or, for that matter, any garden variety Lefty - can take the most seemingly innocuous comment and portray it as something much more sinister. For example, what are the odds the five names mentioned in your remark would appear in precise alphabetical order, even to the extent that the one redundant surname is correctly sub-sorted by first name? Is that mere coincidence, or is it persuasive evidence of a calculated, pernicious effort on your part to systematically raze the entire Democrat party infrastructure piece by piece?

Whatever the case, I'm behind you all the way.
