Harry Reid walks, Weldon raided? WTF?

Harry Reid walks, Weldon raided? WTF?
Do we laugh or cry (answer - both)?  Allegations, and supporting documents that first surfaced last year  put Democrat Minority Leader Harry Reid in the pocket of Jack Abramoff.  If the story is even reported, it's one of these:
"andonCapitolHillHarrRreiddeniedwrongdoing, and now the weather."
In just the past few days we come to find out that  Harry also ...
  1.  made a million dollars on the sale of land  he didn't own.
  2. lied to the Senate about his ownership
  3.  used campaign contributions for personal benefit
  4. today decided to "revise" his false statement to the Senate (Democrats can do that).
  5. return the campaign money he stole.
  6. (Conjecture) will file an amended 2001 tax return for the unreported million dollar windfall.
All  that, and what's the law enforcement story of the day
Curt-freaking-Weldon!
?

''The raids came three days after news broke that the FBI was investigating whether the Delaware County congressman used his influence to help his daughter, a registered lobbyist, win consulting contracts.

''At an event earlier today at Philadelphia International Airport to discuss airport noise, Weldon said the investigation was politically motivated - blaming a complaint filed by Melanie Sloan, director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.'' [story]

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

No nothing will ever happen with this crooked assed crapper. If Weldon has done something illegal then I want the full force of the law to come down on his butt. But nothing will happen to Reid because no Republican has the nads to file a referral with the Justice department.

Jack Hamilton, "...no Republican has the nads to file a referral with the Justice department."

THAT is why I no longer send cash to the Rep Party. I do send funds to individual *conservative* candidates nation wide. Why? Once they're in DC they affect all of us. And we in CA desperately need counter action to our (and the many) liberal sleezebags on the Hill, now. Juice
