I want to move from Blogger

I'm pretty anxious to quit posting on two sites, so I'll appreciate your feedback.  What would it take to get you to feel comfortable with the USA site?  For my part, I've grown fond of the open comment format.  Bill Quick uses it, so I should be able to back engineer the code from him.  Anything else?  Comments, please.

I think that I just come here from habit. C&S is such a natural. Perhaps you could redirect the URL to USA? I love the open comments too.

BTW, Today is the 231st Birthday of the USMC. Happy Birthday to all you Marines. I will be drunk before the sun goes down.

Currently it's like playing hide'n seek. You post at the USA site, but the commments seem to be here. Open comments is a yes.
USA just needs you to move in and decorate so it's comfy to visit like this site. Farmer Jones is actually perfect for your BARNstormers, yes?

I prefer the S&H site, work has to figured out they need to block the pics yet, like they had C&S a long time ago...

You know we'll come where the door's open. Just let us know, and we'll be there with party hats, prozac, and pumpkin pie.
I likes the open comments, too.
And all your commenters. Man, what a sharp group of peeps they iz ;)

Rodger,
I still prefer the C&S site, probably just cuz I'm used to it, and cuz Coffee Girl hasn't made the transition.
And a big "YES" to the open comments; it takes too long to read them if I have to keep opening & closing pages.

I quite like the USA site. I'm a daily C&S reader, and pop over to USA just to check the difference from time to time. I'm used to this one, and this is one of my favorite every day reads.

I'll go where you go, and yes to open comments. I do miss the pop-up girl with her morning coffee though.

Content on the new S&H site does not seem to stretch horizontally as far as content on the classic C&S site; the effect is a lot of wasted display space (over 50% for me) when viewing the new site at high resolutions. It's a minor thing, but it would be great if content would continue to stretch to use most of the available display space.

The archival system on the classic site is difficult to use, and is one of the few things I might suggest is in need of a major overhaul when migrating to the new site. The embryonic replacement facilities on the new site are already an improvement, I think, so I'll just say please keep up development in that area.

Gargantuan props for a relatively clean, easy-on-the-eyes layout, open comments, coffee and other babes, ever-evolving banner and footer content, attitude, and the site in general.

Then again, if you can drop the camera just a little bit on "coffeegirl", I'll be pleased! Now, if she's yours nevermind. But if there's no shame, there's no foul. She just tickles me to have coffee with in the morning. I normally dress like that for my first cup.

Just went back over to refresh my thoughts. Sorry dude, C&S it is. That's my final word, if but one it must be.

Unless the new place is in the same decor.
