The Obama Concoction
My hands down choice for most insightful political blogger is Tom Bevin.  I admire his ability to tack hard into the wind without pandering to leftist sensibilities.  I encourage you to read his post on Osama Obabama today, Obama's Moment?  A man who "Barring that last minute turn of events, ... would still be an Illinois State Senator and two-time loser for higher office that no one in the country had ever heard of."

I just do not understand the Obama phenom. Maybe someone can explain it to me. What has this man done that makes qualified to be president. I mean has he run a State Gov or has he been the author of genius legislation in the senate? Has he ran a large company? I just do not understand. Or is this affirmative action for the oval office? Someone please splain to me.

I don't understand most of the presidential candidate phenomena. Who the hell were Clinton and Bush before they became the parties golden boys?

Osamabama's got two things going for him:

1. He dosen't foam and snarl when he talks like every other democrat does nowadays.
2. His name sounds all "diverse"

Okay, I'm tossing my hat into this ring. His name sounds Arab/Muslim and we all know how demoTraitors pander for votes. They're definitly blind to all but their insatiable thirst for power. Also, "he's black he's white, he's two-two, two treats in one!" Juice

1. The Republicans are leaving him alone; let the Democrats figure it all out.

2. Obama is relatively young, and has little to no track record. He is Everyman, mostly a cipher.

3. The Democrats seem to be DESPERATE, absolutely desperate, for a savior. Into Obama they can transfer all their hopes and dreams, and it is reflected back as a perfect view to them.

4. When you run for President, you have to start standing for something. Each time Obama does that, 50% of his supporters will find themselves betrayed, and they will be crushed. Betrayed not by Obama, but by their own need to view in him a perfect mirror of everything they want - and cannot get, from anybody.

Dave Clinton was the corupt 2 term Gov of Arkansas. Bush was the first Governor elected to 2 terms in Texas and defeated a very popular democrapper very handily.
