Redistricting in Mass.

Someone will fall, and it won't matter who, really.
Hanging on in the Bay State
Howie Carr speaks for the nation this morning.  The outward migration of legal Bay Staters is of such proportion that Massachusetts is scheduled to lose a House seat come 2011.  Here's Howie:
''Who really wants to save a U.S. House seat for Massachusetts? You gotta be kidding. The best thing that could happen for America would be for the commonwealth to shed several districts, and it’s a damn shame we can’t cede one of our two Senate seats as well.

'' But if the hacks truly want to inflate the state’s plummeting population by rounding up thousands of illegal aliens, it shouldn’t be difficult. First place to check is the hospital emergency rooms. They’re the ones with translators, and a lot of them will be wearing neck braces from the phony auto accidents they’ve staged.

''But if this harebrained scheme to celebrate diversity doesn’t work, which Mass. congressman will lose out in this low-stakes game of musical chairs?''  House seat not worth saving

Let it be Barney, please please please .

I believe I might have made this comment before but there can only be a couple of reasons the people of Mass. Keep returning to office Frank Kennedy and Kerry. That is either a very bad and massive character and integrity deficit or either it is a joke that the voters of the state get a kick out of foisting these scum on the rest of the American people.

In New York, they are redefining the word hero to include Mexican "immigrants."

Jack, you are right on both counts.I am a resident of the Baystate for the past 15 years and have witnessed the phenomina. The Commonwealth has lost 40,000 residents since 2003 but more importantly these were tax paying residents. The majority migrated to other New England states to avoid the skyrocketing tax burden in all it's forms and disguises.

Boston is a perfect example of the failure of social engeenering. It's a small city, smaller in area than Central Park. It is also a city without a middle class, but does have 50,000 millionares. It is also the scene of the "Biggest Boondagle" in American history in the misuse of tax payer money. The Big Dig. A dangereous mess that has not relieved traffic problems or "beautified" anything. The Gipper called the shot when he had to sign the Bill he'd vetoed twice. Please come and visit to see what 15 billion of your dollars bought. You will not be impressed.

I'm a collector of odd things, including busts of historic figures. Recently I chanced upon a lifesize JFK, along with a 3/4 size RFk. My immediate thought? How could I turn these into a contest on the local rifle range. I know. I'm going to hell. Still, a good idea.
