Remote controlled border watch.

Today's Brilliant Idea
Do you know those signs that say "This road is sponsored by Joe & Helen's Bar & Grill?"   I'm not real sure how that works, but I am pretty certain that Joe and Helen do not spend weekends sweeping dirt off Route 202. Instead they probably just gave some money for that sign.  My idea is to let people be responsible for sections of our border, but in a more interactive fashion. Here's how it works.

I sign up for a hundred yard strip of border somewhere in Arizona.  The cost?  A $100 mini cam sitting on a stump, or a pole.  That 100 yards may have as many as a dozen sponsors, all of whom agree to take a 2 hour stretch every day.  Hell, I have this program that came with my Logitech minicam that uses motion detection.  I can set it to take single frames, or film anytime someone gets near my computer, and sound an alarm as well.  Using that technology means the warden (we'll he called Border Wardens) can take a pee, or make some popcorn while on duty.

When someone is detected sneaking over my section of Arizona border, I can turn on a warning light, and yell  "¡Hey usted - vaya a continuación, hacen mi día!"  The intrusion coordinates are sent to the volunteer border posse who will be there within 2 minutes.  It's also possible, if somewhat problematic, to have a string of M-60 machine guns along the border that can be aimed and fired with a joystick.  Or fly an RC rocket equipped Jet
Cost= 1% of what the gummint would pay
.

My job is to come up with the ideas, yours is to implement them. Let's aim for April 10th.

Brilliant! I used to know a gal who worked for these folks, http://www.adoptahighway.com/ You give them a chunk of oof, and they divvy it up with a slice going to the state for "cleanup", and the state allows, or arranges for the sign to go up. I don't think anyone actually picks up trash. Heh, wait a minute. Isn't that the same border watching we have going on now?

There are enough real Americans out there that these RC pillboxes could become a profit center and would be booked way out into the future. I could guard the border from my living room and shoot a few illegals to relax.
