SOTU

Just another sad day?
SOTU day always makes me a nervous wreck.  With every congressional democrat gathered in one room, I'm scared to death that the worst will happen.    And, every year it does.

Yeah and this year could be worse than most-- Hillary might smile. She's trying to appear warm nowadays you know, so she may not be rolling her eyes and scowling so fiercely.

I'm not going to watch it because I can't stand the tension when the President reads a prepared speech, and I intensely resent the camera scanning the MSM's favorite "stars" in the audience to catch their phoney reactions, esp. the Marxist Bitch TFV alluded to.

classic post and i do share those thoughts...

seeing 'madame speaker' is truly a sad moment.

not that she is a she, but that she is about as bright as a tack.

dishonest as well.

of course, Hillary, Reid, Schumer, etc., are all beeming with their power.

ugly corrupt slime balls.

the President has to remind the Speaker she needs to introduce him.

he turns around and says politely, 'ready to go'...

The President is a classy Leader, and makes the rest of these mindless fools look like crap.

They slandered GW so much, and to see this Man show such decency is hard, for they simply do not deserve it, especially Nancy Pelosi.

Hillary's deliberate, slow, limp-wristed, over exagerated clapping is always what pissed me off. Combine this with the eye-rolling, I just want to reach into the TV and flip her in the forehead.

agreed localhost.localdomain...

the Rodham display of self indulgence returns.

she is one unhappy, ego filled, human being.

she must never make a SOTU speech ever.

I started not to watch the speech but I am glad I did. HNV is correct the Prez is a decent and honorable man something the Democrats will never understand. For the most part I agreed with his speech. I have renewed confidence in General Padraise who believes the change in direction in Iraq can work. I also think it can as well given that the Iraqi leader has now dumped Sadr and we can take the gloves off.

I also noted some change in his approach to immigration to the point it appears he now understands the importance of attrition. His move to make the work place identification and tamper proof ID is very important as well as doubling the border patrol. However when he made the comment that we need to change the status of those alread here to legal he is still far out in left feild and that can still cost Republicans the presidential election and more losses in the Congress.I would urge everyone to go to the Numbers USA website and read there observations.Numbers USA is the best web organization to fight illegal immigration there is and you can send faxes for free to all involved in the debate. They have saved this country for about 6 years now from the open borders crowd.

In all I see some reason for hope. I also understand that the Democrappers will not be able to control them self and will go off on insane left wing fits that will alienate the respectable and decent people of the country. They always do with out fail.

agreed...

well said Mr. Hamilton.

watched Russert this morning promote, endorse, and go 'ga-ga' over Webb's response calling for retreat and 'populist' socialism.

the MSM is perhaps more of a problem, then all else...
