Bum Ball Immigration

Bum balls

I've been lampooning a series of ads produced for an outfit called  Makepovertyhistory.org.  Not because I don't think there's poverty.  Not because I like seeing kids go hungry.  Because this outfit is one of a myriad of do gooder hippie socialists, with no clue whatever, who target us because we're successful and generous. Instead of trying to make Americans feel guilty for having achieved wealth and success, they ought to be pressuring the governments of  East Timor, Nigeria, Burkina Fasso, blah-blah-blah to adopt policies that created our wealth.  No taxes, No dictators, No fear.  And the United States would do well to revert back to that same model too.

A lot of you watched the Glen Beck Immigration video last week.  Here I've isolated what I think is the killer segment in that presentation, The Gum ball example.  It's just about 4 minutes long, and it addresses our immigration problem as it pertains to our government buying into the "save the world" campaign.  I know you've seen it, but mail it to your kids.  Especially them.

The title "Bum Balls" is a typo, but I'm leaving it.

Thanks for the reminder. I used the hyperlink for the full length version and sent it out to family members. It is so worthy of the few extra minutes in viewing time. When 'seeing is believing' this is an absolutely remarkable presentation.

That's an excellent video. "Bum Balls" is a perfect title. I thought it was intentional until I read your comment.

I tried making a similar argument when several years ago, Bill Gates was coerced into giving away half his fortune. Don’t get me wrong, he’s doing some laudable things, but divided out amongst the needy, his largesse amounts to about $14 a person. If he was truly intent on helping them, he would have built for profit, high-tech factories in their poor countries and employed them.
