The whole thing was very complicated...Bob the guy in the tree was a low-down polecat,hated by Betty's dad the sherrif,who said "he ain't worth shootin,he's better hung" upon which Betty said, "naw daddy,Bob's better hung!" and at that the sherrif said to Bob,"Hello Son",got hold of the Parson,made arraingments and went off and got drunk.
