Framed

Investing in America

This is what I call a smoking gun.   Border Patrol agent Rene Sanchez is the man who provided the initial evidence that put Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean in prison,  for shooting Mexican drug smuggler Osbaldo Aldrete-Davila is the ass.  Guess what?
  •   ... Sanchez and Aldrete-Davila grew up together in San Ysidro, Mexico, and they have remained life-long friends.
  • Rene Sanchez's mother-in-law was also involved in driving Aldrete-Davila into El Paso for his hospital treatments
  • Sanchez was the one who then assisted Aldrete-Davila in finding a U.S. attorney to sue Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean

"INVASION USA"

If you follow the story links you'll find that the evidence used to send these two men to prison was faulty at best, manufactured at worst.  This is why I blame Presideent Bush.  This was a high profile case where thousands of Americans (me included) signed a petition asking him to pardon these men.    For ghod's sake, if internet investigators can put these pieces together, what the hell kind of counsel is Bush receiving?  Is  Jim Baker back in the White House, Sotto voce?

Second.  My instinct tells me that the Mexican drug cartel has made investments in certain  federal agencies.

"Ramos' wife Monica stated "I have to show my children their father in prison in chains and I have to explain to them that the president of the United States is a liar.""

I dunno. I love the guys on the border. The legit ones who try and do the best they do but, blegh. The facts as I understand them are...The fired fifteen shots at someone who was unarmed...In broad daylight...All this so far can be disputed, but then I said that they gave a false report, and left the wounded guy.

The mexican had 800 pounds of weed in his van, so yeah, he's obviously got friends, but I dunno. It just doesn't seem like there could be enough corrupt people in charge that there'd have to be to lie like that.

These guys firede because they thought he was armed. They did not leave him to die he ran away they did not believe he was hit. You need to read all this. There is no way these guys belong in the joint. They should have been repremanded and suspended without pay for about 3 months. This is one of the dirtiest damn deals i have ever seen and I spent years in law enforcement. There was big time political pressure applied in this case.

But if anything, the political pressure would be in favor of the agents. Public opinion 'raw rawed' the agents. Which is why I think if there was proof that these guys didn't act wrongly, they'd be doing their job right now.

And regardless of whether or not the sonofabeech ran, ANY law enforcement agency has to make a report if there's a SINGLE weapons discharge. Like I said, I don't know. I have to figure that the border patrol agency which would be able to prove/disprove the report. The prosecutors, the lawyers for the agents, the judge, the jury...I have to assume they know something I don't, and the guys still didn't get off. I mean, I hate illegals as much as the next guy, and you can debate whether or not what they DID do should put them in prison that long. But I'm also a fan of our laws, and if they broke them, which everyone in charge thought they did. Well, this is what happens.

I just can't imagine Bush, who would probably be on the winning side of this, since public opinion would like to see them pardoned...I can't see him not doing it, if the grounds for doing it is there.

Josh,

You've been away fron your computer too long. Goto: http://www.americanpatrol.com/ and watch the video at the head. Then goto: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/ and read all the links about the Border Patrol Agents in question. This is clearly a case of "malicious prosecution".

You have been had on this. The political pressure was from the administration through there AG because they want the open border. They never had any idea about the out cry from the public. He may or may not pardon these guys. I know for a fact if this was handled correctly these guys would have just been suspended or fired.

Josh Fahrni-Barn Army Dog Catcher said...

I dunno, you can't convince me The Bush Admin. is gonna play politics and side with an illegal who was in the wrong. Dunno, like I said, just hard to believe there were THAT many corrupt people. And if it's as blatant as you're making it out to be, people's asses would be had.

Josh all that happened is that Bush Tells his AG that he wants things done to make an example he call his man Sutton who comes down harf on these guys. You got to read the information on this it is done all the time. I have been a law enforcement officer. I love this country and I love this system but if you think no one has ever been rail roaded you are mistaken and that is the case here.

Josh Fahrni-Barn Army Dog Catcher said...

Sorry, Jack, but what in the HELL would Bush railroad THESE guys for? It's not like he's some rampant open border liberal. I can see thinking he should pardon them based on what you know, fine...But saying he tells Alberto 'Hey, uh, for no reason, lets make an example out of these Mexicans, who shot that other Mexican'...I just, I mean, I don't wanna be insulting, but that's, well, not logical. As far as I can tell, they probably may have thought he was armed, but shooting at him FIFTEEN times, and not reporting it because they 'wanted to avoid the paperwork'. That's just dumb. Picking up and hiding the shell casings-That was really dumb too. They acted like they knew what they did was wrong in one way or another. Blame the prosecutor for believing a drug peddler, but I just don't see how in the hell this gets dropped onto Bush's doorstep. A Judge and Jury heard everything that was put forth, and if something new has come up, they can appeal, obviously...An appeal is an appeal.

I dunno, I've had family members nearly screwed by the legal system, but these guys admitted to covering it up and not filing paperwork. Which looks a little odd to me.

Josh, that's the way it looked to me as well.Only thing is, I may have been called generous, but under the circumstances,I would have given them a year sentence,a fine, and fired them....Anyway the consequences are debatible I guess, but they did screw up on their own.

Josh Fahrni-Barn Army Dog Catcher said...

Yeah, granting immunity to the guy and giving them the max is pretty bad. But they were convicted on 10 of 11 counts.

I agree that the penalty's were definitely harsh, and that MAYBE the prosecutor was setting an example, but I don't think it goes above that. I just don't think this Justice Department is witch hunting, as though they're somehow on illegals sides.

I see you are not up to speed on all the facts regarding this case. Yes Bush is an open borders liberal and makes no bones about it I am schocked you do not know that. I am not saying he is liberal on all things but yes he is very much for open borders.Bush did not have to tell him exactly those words he only has to say I want to be on top of this and His people along with Sutton who is a long time Bush supporter do the rest. You are just deceiving yourself or I do not believe you are up to speed on all the latest info. But believe what you wish. I believe your heart is in the right place you just are not up to speed on all that the Bush administration would do for amnesty and open borders for there long sought after North American union. It was a damn message sent to the agents plain and simple.

This administration is with out doubt on the side of illegals. No question about it.

Hear, hear! I do dearly love the economic brilliance of my President. On the matter of money he's a genius. A non-liberal, non-socialist, genius. As for his old compadres from the south, Damn Boss, what ails you!?!?!?

I dunno. This wasn't about the broader conversation about illegal immigration. This was about this case. Rodger atleast presented something to start with. Jack, you never did tell me why they covered it up, screwed with a crime scene or lied. All I hear is that Bush is bad for this and that he should do that.

Wish you woulda told me why instead of resorting to all but calling me ignorant.

I do not think I all but called you ignorant. If that is the idea I left you with It surly was not my intention. But the fact is it has everything to do with illegal immigration. Bush is a died in the woll open borders guy and has been ever sense he has been in office. These guys were ignorant to have failed to file a report but they are not the first officers that have tried to take a short cut. They did not believe they had hit the guy so in there mind it was a wash. The reports after discharging a weapon and the subsquent investigation is a pain in the ass. I am just suggesting you go to the site that Roger has listed above and read it completely. There is no question That Sutton is Alberto's and Bush's guy. Many of the things asserted by the prosecution in there case is now very questionable. @ of there witnesses have come out and said that they mis characterized the true events.I certainly did not mean to inferr that you were ignorant. I never inferr anything like that if I believed that about you I would just come out and say it. But no quite the contrary I believe you are a sharp and articulate person. But there are some things I know and I am telling you from day one this smelled like shit.If you are doing an investigation and you have done many you can feel the unseen hand of influence in it if that is being done. There are just to many things here that do not add up. Like the border patrol agen from the other city's finger in the pie.
