Kim has listed some fine cheeses. However, I love American singles, white American on my cheesesteaks and(gasp) Velveta on my buffalo burgers.
How he could leave out parmesan reggiano and roquefort is inexplicable.
And I've had cheddar from Ireland that is heavenly.

Seriously, though, if you've a Costco near you, they've recently started imported some damn fine Parmesan and Romano cheeses under the Kirkland brand name. Great eats at a reduced price. -

that sammich reminds that we ate our 1st fried pickles. When in the South... everything is F-R-I-E-D (fryeeeed)> Surprisingly, they were quite delicious. :) We LOVE AMERICA and AMERICA'S CITIZENS...Legal that is!!!! :):):):):)
