Fuck Patrick Fitzgerald

In the movies Scooter Libby is played by Jimmy Stewart; Patrick Fitzgerald and Chuck Schumer are booed and hissed.
I'm so pissed off that I could barely sleep last night
  1. Scooter Libby was convicted of being a member of the Bush Administration
  2. White Republicans are always convicted in that black DC Federal court.
  3. Libby's lawyer was dumb as snot for not asking for a change of venue.
  4. Libby's lawyer was dumb as snot for making the cornerstone of his defense that Libby was the fall-guy for the Administration. .  There was no fall-guy, there was no crime, but at that second he stipulated a crime had been committed.
  5. Libby's Lawyer was dumb as snot for not deposing Richard Armitage, the man who actually did reveal that Valerie Plame was a CIA gofer.  Even that was not a violation of the law.
  6. Valerie Plame was NOT a covert CIA agent, so no crime was possible.
  7. Patrick Fitzgerald is a venal snot who knew three weeks into his years-long jihad that it was Armitage, yet he continued to depose Bush people in what was little more than a perjury trap.
  8. Note that Fitzgerald said yesterday that  "Valerie Plame was a classified CIA employee and every one knew it."  That's a flat manipulation and lie.  Paper is "classified," not people.  Valerie Plame was nothing.
  9. Joe Wilson lied to Congress - he gets a movie.
  10. Bush should pardon Scooter today, but his refusal to do the right thing for the border guards tells me there's no chance.
  11. Patrick Fitzgerald and his puppeteer Chucky Schumer are disgusting people.

If it becomes necessary Bush will pardon Libby mark my word. But I do not think it will be necessary.

In the shower this morning the thought a "jury of your peers" popped into my pea brain. When I heard the interview of one of the jurors on Rush, he sounded disappointed there weren't more celebrities invited to the trial, ie, Bush or Cheney! WTF? I guess if they didn't show, Scooter must've been guilty, duh? If a jury is to be of my peers, make damn certain they are conservative thinkers; albeit redundant, "who think for themselves and consider the FACTS."

Jack, however much integrity and confidence it would display on Bush's behalf to undo this travesty of justice, IMO, he will NEVER make that move because "it could appear" the case had validity in the first place and there's something to hide. Yuck!! Like you, I certainly wish our president would show spine on this, but I agree with Rodger, those Border Patrol guards were hung out to swing in the wind.

I didn't sleep either last night, but it aint got nothing to do with Libby...

Rodge, I played a first-person shooter game on my playstation before I jumped on here and reread some posts. My dream was, apparently in it I had made the videogame I was playing...You were snarky and mean about my game :D. Kept telling me how an AK-47 was typical and everything smelled like Ted Kennedy's breath.

Not making either of those up at all. That was my whole dream. You had a full post and I read it out in my head, although I only remember those two pieces of it...

What you missed, Rodge, is that Libby lied to someone with a badge, which is pretty much what Martha Stewart did.

He should have taken the 5th.

I feel sorry for Libby, and I hope that Bush pardons him, but he screwed up by lying.

12. Libby's Lawyer was dumb as snot for allowing a Washington Post reporter to make it through voir dire.

WAPO may have a couple decent people working there, but there is no reason to risk his client's freedom on the tiny chance that this putz was the one.

Josh two different deal between the guards and Libby. The Guards were not part of the inside click like Libby him and Cheney are very tight. He will be pardoned if necesary you can bet on that. It will be near the end of the Bush term like most of them kind of pardons but I really do not believe it will be necessary.

I have had a lot of problems with Bush about issues but I do not blame him for this. Cheney & Libby were defending themself from a miscreat and liar Joe Wilson that just outright lied yet Hollywood and the media are still trying to make him a hero even after he is a known liarr. Another example of why the media's reputation suffers.
