South American Protests

Same Old

Same Old

Bush was in Brazil and got more of the same.  The Nazi mustache posters are probably the work of ANSWER, the communist Workers World Party front organization that finances Bush protests around the world.

In May of 1958 Vice President Richard Nixon and his wife actually had their lives in danger when a Venezuelan mob attacked their Embassy car.  Nixon jumped out of the Cadillac brandishing a Sten, and greased about 40 greasers, and that was the end of that.

I made that last part up.  Those protests also had oil as a backdrop, and were staged after the crappy Venezuelan government blamed the USA for all their problems.  Not much has changed in 50 years.

The hot selling book that year was The Ugly American, a book that portrayed us as arrogant,  and the cause of the worlds woes.  Not much has changed in 50 years.

We figured all of this was due to Democrats trying to undermine Richard Nixon's expected run for the presidency in 1960.  Not much has changed in 50 years.

I'm not making light of the emerging block of ratbastardcommie heads of state in South America, but it's happened before. If  we have to, we'll kill them.

Lighten up. I made that last part up.  I think.
