Dropa Stones +

'Splain this Lucy

This cut is from The 10 Most Puzzling Ancient Artifacts

The Dropa Stones
In 1938, an archeological expedition led by Dr. Chi Pu Tei into the Baian-Kara-Ula mountains of China made an astonishing discovery in some caves that had apparently been occupied by some ancient culture. Buried in the dust of ages on the cave floor were hundreds of stone disks. Measuring about nine inches in diameter, each had a circle cut into the center and was etched with a spiral groove, making it look for all the world like some ancient phonograph record some 10,000 to 12,000 years old. The spiral groove, it turns out, is actually composed of tiny hieroglyphics that tell the incredible story of spaceships from some distant world that crash-landed in the mountains. The ships were piloted by people who called themselves the Dropa, and the remains of whose descendents, possibly, were found in the cave.

I bet Algore can answer all of these.  His research data often goes back as far as 1912. But wait.  There's more!

"They crash landed in the mountains. The air must have been too warm for their spaceship...it must be Bush's fault." That represents the level of Al Gore's research. I remember when he couldn't identify busts of Washington and Jefferson yet he now believes he can predict the future weather of the planet. The man is a moron.

Dr. vonDaniken, call your office.

"There are several possibilities:

* Intelligent humans date back much, much further than we realize.
* Other intelligent beings and civilizations existed on earth far beyond our recorded history.
* Our dating methods are completely inaccurate, and that stone, coal and fossils form much more rapidly than we now estimate."

This is, I'm sure, a far from exhaustive list of possibilities.

This, from the AncientX homepage:

"Investigation shows that there are several indications that the NASA is tampering with the colors, and changes them from an Earth-like environment into a red inhospitable environment. "

We report, you decide...

Naw, Bush just steals the oxygen and replaces it with carbon dioxide to cause Martian warming and ta-da instant red planet full of republican voters.Everything can be blamed on Bush if you just breath paint fumes for a few minutes before you think about it.

Ultima Thule's lunacies, compared to Al

Wait. If these hieroglyphic disks are 12,000 years old, how could we possibly translate them? We don't know any HUMAN written languages from that far back. So even if one of the disks was a Dropa-Clovis dictionary, what freakin' good would it do us when there's no such thing as Clovis?

Oh, I see. "Dr. Chi Pu Tei." Obviously a cousin of the famous Sheikh Yabooty.

Dr. Velikovsky was a VERY interesting writer. Some of his ideas have been rightly disputed, still, however,he made many amazing and accurate predictions about space and the planets, and the cosmos wasn't even his field. He was NOT an astronomist. He was a ..psycologist?..I believe.
