Maryland has a reputation for being one of the most backward thinking states in the Union. Our newspapers are uber liberal. Our television is uber liberal. Our schools are uber liberal, and our legislature is owned lock, stock, and barrel by unions, lawyers, insurance agents and assorted pissant groups of the perpetually angry and abused. We're one of just 10 states that won't allow personal firearm protection. This is my state, so I must suffer the consequences of their voting booth foolishness. We had a very good Governor in Bob Ehrlich. So good that The WaPost made him the first Republican since Abe Lincoln that they endorsed for reelection. Didn't matter. Now with a Democrat in the Governor's mansion who will not veto squat - this is what we're getting. Paid college tuition for illegal immigrants An interstate compact to award electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote Felon voting rights Parole for second-time drug offenders serving mandatory minimum sentences Yes, these are bloody morons, but they're my bloody morons, so I           Maryland asshole alert won't deploy the B-52 over Maryland skies until after I finish with California, Washington, New York New Jersey, and Vermont. And we've sold our house and moved to the Caymans. And warned the kids. Even the guilty ones. Family comes first. My family, not yours Vermonters.
