I'm heartened by this poll, especially since CNN is a destination site for so many lefty dicklikkers. I posted yesterday a Roanoke Times article
exalting the failure last year of Virginia HB 1572, which would have
allowed handguns on college campuses [Oh, BTW! Kim has more about the Roanoke Times
that you'll have to read to believe] What that bill was attempting to
do was restore already held rights of Virginia's college
community. Many students and professors hold carry permits, but
at schools like Virginia Tech, they are obliged to hand them over to
campus police before setting foot on campus. Virginia has already
upheld the right to carry in bars and churches, if I'm not mistaken, so
why not colleges? It will be interesting to find out whether any
student or faculty in that building was a victim of this misguided
rule. Maybe the next lunatic with an illegal gun will
rampage in the Roanoke Times building. Sheesh.
