C-130 in Afghanistan Inter-action

In my day we dropped boiling oil on the bad guys, so I may have mistaken dirt kicked up by the chain gun for 40mm stuff. Great C-130 action at any rate, and the game still works.

Couldn't decide whether "boom" or "bang" was more effective. Wish they would have leveled everything in sight, including the dadgummed armory... uhhh... mosque.

I was fairly certain that the AC-130 carried 20MM Vulcans rather than the 25MM models. Also, rotary gun like the Minigun/Vulcan/Avenger are NOT "chain guns." They use an electric motor to drive them..; 5/25/07, 11:16 AM

Our daughter operates the big guns on the AC130-U: 105 howitzer, 40mm mini gun, 25 cal gatling gun. She's in Irag now.
BTW, gunships motto, "The real reason to fear the night."

Nope, it's a 25mm and a 40mm, although the AF is in the process of replacing both with 30mm. Apparently spare parts for the 25 are like hen's teeth.
