I can no longer watch the news in regard to the rat bastard Bush. he will accomplish a destinction that even Jimmy carter did not and that is the destruction of his own party. This moron is a disaster all because of his insane desire for cheap labor and to screw Americans. What a disapointment and that is putting it mildly. I am urging congressman Duncan to support a bill of impeachment if one is filed in regard to this amnesty crap. He has failed his oath and duty to enforce the law and to defend this nation from invasion.

LOL

the Man wants to get something done, and has his beliefs, but gets labled like this?

sucking the blood from liberty?

something over the top about this.

some are saying the Conservative Base 'killed' immigration reform in the Senate, but it seems Republicans stopped it to continue to debate and add amendments to improve the legislation.

the entire thing is nutty, cause if you mention 'immigration' everyone loses their cool.

hell, Mark Levin last night labled it, 'Bush is fighting against Americans', pure diatribe and really pretty amusing, considering a clear majority wants some form of immigration reform.

"rat bastard"?

LOL

you see...

the guy who led us after 9-11, cut taxes, fought al Qaeda, etc., is now worse than Carter?

complete bs...

hell, i thought Jack left the Republican Party a few weeks ago.

that is the type expression that destroys the Republican Party.

over illegal immigrants who are already here, and have been here for decades.

this all sounds like Polipundit, and that ended in disaster.

Jimmy Carter gave away the Panama Canal. Geo. Bush is giving away the Rio Grande.

Which water-way is most important to the security of the USA?

In case anyone is in doubt about the disastrous results of the Bush/Kennedy/McCain immigration bill; have a peek at this video "Immigration by the Numbers". http://tinyurl.com/27dhoj

Bush has wanted immigration reform and has said so since he ran for POtUS the first time.

I just thought he meant fix it not become Pedro's bitch.

Exactly Right Miss Sondo

I thought the majority wanted a complete stop and reversal to illegal immigration, not some faux "reform".

Bush is just paying back for that $220 million he got from business the first few days he announced he was running for president.

I have stated i am no longer a Republican as far as I am concerned I am an Independent. That does not preclude me from voting for a Republican if they merit my vote.I also stated that my loyalty is to the United States Of America. Not to some moron that is trying to pass legislation that will destroy my country that I and my forefathers are heavily invested in with blood and parts of my body. The legislation that is being pushed creates another Mexico and turns this nation in to what these people fled. Bush and friends are trying to procure an un ending source of cheap labor for business American wage earners be damned and to premote a permanant underclass to wash there cloths, cook there meals and take care of there kids and to chase there golf balls. Those are the only balls they have by the way.

Not to mention the 20 people a day that die at the hands of illegal aliens either by DWI or murder out right. You talk about misplaced loyalty? When they are sticking the knife in the back and destroying my country I owe them no loyalty. Bush spoke of a guest worker program when running for office but he did not tell us he would be pushing amnesty.

Hitler had people that were blided by extreame loyalty.

The vast majority of Americans want something done about illegal immigrants invading this country.

HNAV, I've put my ass on the line for the last 32 years. I did NOT do it to secure the blessings of America for criminals who ignore who we are. This is MY country, and I will not allow it to be given away. I will work tirelessly to unseat any of my representatives who supports it. I'm appalled that MY president is in the fore of this travesty.

No country on Earth can properly absorb eleven million anyones, not legal nor illegal, not even if they were transplants from the Pearly Gate's Guardian Squad of Angels or an all Irish horde of saints,it just can't work.Add the fact that the entrance gate is still hanging open allowing in masses of people who more and more DON't want to assimilate and who would gladly rewrite the map of our borders, and more worrisome yet,are intersperced with criminals, murderers, possible terrorists and bombers, drug dealers and drains on our taxpayers, and you must conclude that this situation MUST be remedied....I personally don't have anything against any race, creed, color, or national origin as a source of new Americans, but I do believe there must be some balance employed and common sense and fair play put into practice when issuing permits for new immigrants. No country on Earth, not even China with their huge population, could or would attempt to try this exercise in idiocy that we are attempting and even THEY would have a problem absorbing so many all at once, that is if China or any other country allowed in aliens the way we do....This is NO longer the 1700's and 1800's and this is no longer the wide open spaces. We still need new blood and evidently always will,as growth seems to be the wired in plan of the world, but we had better use some common sense or we can assure that our posterity can kiss the good old USA a fond goodbye.I am a firm believer that now, more than in the past, we MUST pick and choose who we allow in and I of course mean using humane and fair methods of selection and always allowing for emergencies. If done correctly, we will always be the country of Americans FILLED with Americans.... I KNOW that our leaders(?) don't understand or evidently don't care what a delicate balance we have here and how easily the dream can end when the wrong critical mass is reached.Better stay in the saddle on this one folks..or find out the horse has been stolen..or killed.

Very good points by Col. Fred and JMcD
The fact is these people are not like the immigrants that came through Ellis island in any fashion. They do not want to be Americans they simply want to suck up the bounty and tax payer paid nennies and that is all. They also want to turn this country into the shit hole they fled. They do not care about the USA.

I've stood by President Bush for a long time rather enthusiastically because he stepped up to the plate when called upon and did a damn fine job. But between this and the global warming turn around he's totally screwed up. I'm with JMcD, Fred and of course Jack H.. Also, unless some miracle occurs we are going to end up fighting in the streets for our country. Might end up being the best thing for our country. Thin out the wimps and non-patriots.

Sometimes I think we need a 'National Employment Bureau' with listings of job openings for labor, doctors, scientists, soda jerks, painters, carpenters etc with first priority going to American citizens and then open to foreign applicants, who could work toward legal citizenship. Military openings would also be listed with instant citizenship as a reward for honorable service. This would keep us from having a glut or lack of workers and fouling wages and benefits, suffering shortages in military ranks, and seasonal worker shortages. (some workers allowed in would have to be seasonal and temporary) All of this would be continguent on having tight border security............Pipe dream No?...Well we are going to have jobs that need to be filled and there should be an efficient and reasonable way to fill them without shreading the entire fabric of the country through unsupervised and slipshod fostering of a 'squatter' system.

As far as the amnesty bill goes, we rose up and killed it once. We can and must do it again. We keep being told by it's backers that this bill is better than no bill. It isn't. If we keep the phones ringing in 41 senators offices, we can keep killing it. That is what stopped it the first time.

Als, Bush is not going to destroy the Republican Party. If Fred Thompson enters (he will) and gets the nomination (he will) the American people will evaluate him on his merits and not that of Bush's and he will win the election. Rinos in the house and senate are in trouble because true conservatives are rising up to challenge them. Case in point, Lindsey Graham. There is no way he gets re-elected in 2008. South Carolina republicans are already courting replacements to challenge and defeat him in the primaries. He and McCain can circle jerk each other after 2008.

Also, there will be a lot of one term democrats (Heath Schuler for one). They ran as conservative democrats and then became Pelosi's play toy and make no mistake, their voters have taken notice. Schuler barely won his seat. He won't win it again. He and the rest of the faux conservatives will be out next election. All their challengers have to do is let the public know that they voted for taxes and amnesty. They'll be out of office.

I know I am in the minority, but I think the conservative republican party will rebound when Thompson gets the nomination and will take back the house and challenge for the senate. If Thompson is as good as he appears, his coat tails will bring the house and senate with him. Once in, I think he'll arrange challenges to rinos like Specter and the like.

Bush may actually be helping this along. The drippings that he left in our collective asses won't be dry by 2008's election. We won't forget what a wishy washy moderate is like and we sure as hell won't let another one or a major leftist like Hilary or Obama take the White House without a fight.

There is a war on for this country between the liberal socialists/globalists and the conservative base of America. We on the conservative side are just now getting energized. When we are in full fighting mode, we will kick the ever loving crap out of them.

Tsk tsk, calling HNaV a sycophant? That wasn't necessary.

I'm impelled to remind all and sundry: There are 12 million illegal immigrants in our fine country. No matter what the dickheads do in Washington, sign some paper? Tomorrow, there will still be 12 million redefined folk.

Something's gotta be done. And excoriating the best president since Reagan isn't part of the answer.

"... the best president since Reagan ..."

Do you realize how sad that really is? You are correct, no doubt, but the fact that W is the closest thing to Reagan is a sad commentary on our last few selections of presidents... Sadder still, he was the better choice than the main opposition each election. Come on, Gore, Kerrey, Nader?

South Park was right, every election since the beginning of time has come down to a duche or a turd (that was one of their best episodes). Hopefully Fred will be better.

Alear,
Best president since Reagan? It's like Prime Rib followed by three shit sandwiches. Claiming one sandwich was the best isn't necessarily something I'd brag about.

Other than his prosecution of the war, W has been a complete disaster, and has substantially harmed this country. Yes, his challengers would have done worse but that doesn't excuse him.

Umm Jack:
"Other than his prosecution of the war, W has been a complete disaster, and has substantially harmed this country."
Are you too focused on one issue just now? You may want to step outside, and see how the economy is doing. To quote Clinton, "it's the economy, stupid."
Which the Dhimmi's won't be doing much this election season.

Rodger the Real King of France said...

I deliberately did not call HNAV a sycophant - I warned that blind loyalty can lead to sycophancy. Go back and read it. Or do you think I was wrong in that assessment?

Here's a question (Alear). If, as you propose, there are 12 million illegals here today, and there will be 12 million illegals tomorrow no matter what is legislated, might that not tell you that something is terribly wrong? Is your answer really "more of the same?"

I propose that the United States government show all the zeal in dealing with these law breakers as it does prosecuting a land owner who fills in a swamp on his own property. How's that for a solution?

Anonymous said...

I do not believe I have called anyone that post here anything. If i want to do that there will be no mistaking my intent. Now as for there being 12 million illegal's here that is bullshit. It is more like 20 million illegals. Also to say that they will still be here no matter what is defeatist bullshit and I can only be glad that Washington and the Continental Congress did not have the same mind set or we would be bowing to the Queen. They were made of sterner stuff.

We do not have to throw up our hands and say it is okay take our country and murder our citizens and there is nothing we can do about it is bullshit as well. President Esienhower sent back over a million and a half Mexicans during his tenure. We do not have to do round ups we have to secure the border then start enforcing the laws in regard to employers and welfare give aways. You will see a steady line of self deporting Mexicans. It is either that or our country is lost. Also this issue has already badly damaged the republican party. The democraps did not take over the house and senate because Bush was fighting the war it was because huge portions of the Republican base stayed home and did not turn out because of disgust for him and mainly the senate thatis plunging a knife in there back. We are not idiots we will not be pissed on and told opp's it must be raining. I will not forfiet my country with out a fight.
I also agreed that Fred Thompson is a man that could restore some credibility to the GOP. You see we can lose this country much quicker to the invasion thatis currently under way than we could to the islamo terrorist. I am not a frigging fool. and will not be sold another phony bill of goods. Also Bush is not even a pimple on Reagans ass. i appreciate his fight against terrorist. But his attempt to give my country away is not oing to fly.

Rodger the Real King of France said...

Ditto what jack said.

Exactly Jack. Republicans lost the house and Senate becuase they lost the things that made them republicans. Amnesty, McCain Feingold, spending, more spending, even more spending, not backing the country when the libtards tried to tear it down via faux scandals. It was disgusting.

The dems saw an oppurtunity to run "blue dog" dems and give them credit, Pelosi and company pulled it off brilliantly. However, here in NC buyers remorse is already setting in. Heath Schuler will be out after 2008. You cannot support the Pelosi plan when you said you wouldn't. In SC, Grahamnesty will be out next election. Look for some of those Indiana and Ohio congressional seats to be refilled by conservatives next election.

Conservatives are waking to the fact that they have a major fight. They will and are rising to that challenge. When it is over, the libtards won't know what hit them.

Alear, you are correct, there are some things W has done well aside from the war. Tax cuts, Alito, Roberts, setting up good defense items (roving wiretaps, spying in mosques and the like), and he has done a great job in making the left show just how freaking looney they are.
