impeach again?

so al Qaeda wins?

dogging the same Rat Bastard Republicans that refused to bend to Reid and Company on this Immigration Issue?

again...
'I have never felt betrayed by Bush. He is, still, the same guy he was when I voted for him. You knew, by the way, that George W. Bush favored eventual naturalization for illegal immigrants. He said it when he was Governor of Texas. He said it when you elected him in 2000, and again when you voted him in again in 2004.

Then, in 2005, you said, “fix the long-standing immigration problem and fix it immediately, perfectly and exactly as we tell you to.” (C’mon, you know that’s what you said!) And when Bush responded, “but I’ve been really thinking about this issue since ‘way before I was president – even back when you weren’t thinking about it – and I disagree with your solution and here is why,” and you cried “betrayal.”

But the thing is, you’ve been crying “betrayal” since he nominated Harriet Miers to the SCOTUS. Big Lizard is quite correct in that there seems to be, almost, an impulse to look for betrayal, even when none is there.'

You're a little overboard with the betrayal lingo. The fact is, Bush - to my utter consternation and disgust, has always pushed for this incredible abrogation of our sovereignty, and refused to stop the invasion (which is a betrayal of his oath, come to think of it). He was elected in spite of it. But now that this matter had its chance in prime time, and went down in flames - because people - like me - who voted for him HATE this measure, it's over. He lost. Betrayal? If anything he is now guilty of felony hubris.

And here's why the republicans can't hold power. The various types of conservative insist on ideological purity and want to throw the bums out when they don't get it. Hence the new Democrat congress without which the immigration bill would have zero chance, the inability to get more judges confirmed to federal courts and more. We truly are the stupid party.

Bullshit. Almost all the conservatives who would like to wring his neck now stuck with him after he increased social spending faster than any President in history. So much for your "ideological purity." What he's doing here however is on a par with J.F. Kennedy trashing the Monroe Doctrine, Carter giving away the Panama Canal, and McCain-Feingold's emasculation of the First Amendment, which is to say an assault on the nation. The good news is he can't run again, and Fred Thompson, like Reagan after Carter, will step in and make us whole again, and drive Liberals crazy. USA-UAS-USA!

Ideological purity, My ass. That makes my ass crave a dip of snuff. How about just saving our nation I smell a rat here.

Spending increases can be fixed. An invasion made legal cannot.

Yes, I held my nose and voted for Bush. And every time I've voted for the lesser of two evils I've regretted it. I'm feeling that way again.

Constitution Party. Maybe I'm throwing away my vote. So what? It's mine. If Hillary gets in office, it's not my fault. It's YOUR fault for choosing the lessor of two evils and not voting your conscience.
