I'm tellin' ya'....Thompson/Gingrich '08....
Not a chance for a million reasons ...
I believe you may have touched on it before, but why not Gingrich?
Tim
You know it's going tobe HRC/Obama, let's counter with Thompson/Steele.
Michael Steele is a natural. Great speaker, solid, I was hugely disappointed he lost his senate race but maybe bigger things are in store for him.
Newt has waay too much baggage to run as veep. Love the guy, a real brainiac, but negs up there with HRC's.

Just took time with the hubby to watch this video...
*clap*clap*clap
and, Thanks, mucho!
MM, dude!
Way to go. Fred and Michael, great conservative ticket. :)
No Newt for what MM said, plus a Tennessee-Georgia ticket is too geo-lopsided, and Newt could never play second fiddle.
While I don't have as much time as I would like to devote to the study of every who's who, I still think for the overall good of "The Cause", Fred & Newt would be a GREAT pairing. Both of them take no shit off of anyone and they're both pretty damn sharp. Newty has an incredible concept and understanding of history, both as an author and former Speaker. His "negs" are a fart in a hurricane compared to HRC's. As far as too Geo-local, I'll give that some credence, but, WTF, Cal & NY are already lost anyway, so it's the "MIDDLE" of America that's really going to make a difference this time. I'm in the middle of nowhere surrounded by Dimmo's and except for a few hardcore Clinton lovers, they all pretty much HATE HRC, and, Obama? FORGET it! Since numbnuts Bloomberg just announced he has "no part affiliation", that will throw a wildcard into it, but he's from NYC and a bazillionaire, so that automatically knocks him out except for the dreamers who voted for Perot and are idiots anyway....ahhh...too sleep, perchance to dream....
Rodge, stop dashing my hopes.
Jeeze-Louize...is there no hope?
Jesus isn't on the ballot.
