Many, many years ago my uncle gave me a leather coat that he had used for some years til he put on too much weight to fit it and he asked if I wanted it.I said yes as it was a very nice coat. I have worn it for many years and along the way I have had it relined and the leather treated. After many more years of use I stll wear it and it still looks great.I will die owning this coat and it will still be in use.....This animal hide garment is the most ecological friendy article of clothing I have ever owned.Compared to the many cloth and synthetic coats I would have worn out by now (and that would NOT have been repairable)This leather coat has NO doubt saved barrels and barrels and barrels of oil in the form of raw materials, fuel, fertilizers, electricity, and labor....How in the hell can these assholes in PETA be so stupid as to NOT be able to see that fur and hides are still the nature friendly, perfect material for human garments that they were since the days of the cave men.Four millian years of evolution has been a complete waste of time when shown by the advancement of the average Left Winger. Will these (insert your own animals if you can find those dumb enough)ever learn?

Hmmmm I just had a thought. I wonder what a hippie hide coat would be like.

Brigitte Bardot, when she came to
the Magdalen Islands, working for a Parisian fake fur company and setting up Greenpeace, on their anti-seal hunting gig,
was wearing A MINK COAT!!!

I'd like to see 'em talk the Hell's Angels into wearing organic fairtrade cotton.
