Brian De Palma

I Know!

Let's Horsewhip Brian De Palma.
If Brian De Palma ("De Palma" is Italian for "makes love to his palm") did what he does best in 1943, he'd have been branded a traitor, tried,  and incarcerated or hanged. His film "Redacted," which is supposedly (guys like De Palma make stuff up a lot), " about the real-life rape and killing of a 14-year-old Iraqi girl by U.S. soldiers who also murdered her family"  shocked Venice film festival viewers.

I don't know why they were shocked.  Trashing the United States military is his signature. In 1989 De Palma teamed with noted patriot Sean Penn and made "Casualties of War."  The only casualty of that Vietnam flick (I think John Kerry wrote the screenplay) was the nation's  reputation.

But De Palma is upfront about his motives.

"The movie is an attempt to bring the reality of what is happening in Iraq to the American people," he told reporters after a press screening.

Horsecrap!  The movie is about an anomaly that occurred in Iraq.  His motive is to heap scorn and ridicule on the United States for daring to fight a war he hasn't signed on to.   For him to portray that ALLEGED incident as representative of what goes on in Iraq is so reprehensible that I think if he was standing  before me this second I'd  ... .  Fill in the space.   And it's a damned shame that not enough people feel the same way, so these filthy bastards will think twice about what they do.  GAH!

Any effin idiot with an effin camera calling himself an effin director say any effin thing to the idiots out there and get away with it. Why? Because there a plenty of idiots out there that can't think and can only watch a movie and get mentally aroused by idiocy.

Yes.They are certainly traitors. They are no doubt from varying shades of the Left but they are absolutely traitors.Liberals,Socialists,Communists,Newday Democrats,Idiots and to the bone, traitors. They didn't just suddenly appear on the scene however,as they have resided in this country since before I was born,it's just that for a reason that I can't comprehend, they get away with attempting to destroy this country nowadays.

I think that in the 'good old days' the law would have taken these people in hand, thereby saving their lives from the loyal American citizens, otherwise these bastards would have probably just disappeared. What I find the most frightening is that if they continue to have a free hand in their endeavors, they will sooner or later do some serious harm and the people will rise up against them in defense of the country, and then all hell breaks loose. I have always believed that a constant nudge from the right and from the left has been useful to keep the society on an even keel and basically in the middle of the road, but the last few decades has seen the Left gain too much power and we are starting to look like Germany in the 20's and 30's and you know what happened then.

I consider myself to be Conservative but as I have stated before that does NOT mean that I am pro-Nazi and I know that the Right Wing in this country is Not Fascist. The danger is I believe that the Right can be pushed into reacting to the outrageous shenanigans perpetrated by the Left,a situation that will be to no ones benefit.I don't know that I have always paid enough attention but I see a country more and more divided daily with attending hatred manifested.Sad to say, the Left just doesn't give a damn as long as they can gain the power to take charge and I don't mean to SHARE the power. If they ever do, I'm sure of one thing. They will be just as cruel in their administering of that power as every other totalitarian dictatorship ever was.

Yeah? Well.. I was a kid in the 1970's..

Came of age in the 1980's.

Married, and had kids in the 1990's.

And I feel EXACTLY the same as you do about these losers.

This country has always had traitors even during the revolutionary war. Most of them moved to Canada after they lost. During WW1 and WW2 we had them but now they are more organized and supported by Hollywood who wants there agenda foisted on the American people. These are the hippie love and peace crowd and many of there offspring. NMow we have the university crowd pushing that agenda. There will come a time either the majority now will have to act or either just give in to these monsters. If that occurs it will be the end of our republic. The great experiment lost forever at the hands of nasty hippies and crooked self centered politicians.
