The downside to losing the worst Bush appointee since Christie Todd Whitman is that democrats will use the resignation as
proof of
a Bush/Gonzales conspiracy to fire those incompetent/rebellious US
Attorneys, and I'll have to listen to it. In addition, it is another case where democrats criminalized politics in order to destroy an opponent's reputation. I'm afraid only a flamethrower will cure them of that.
