Some of the best Americans, aren't

*sigh* God life is so unfair!!!

When the going gets tough, Liberals bail
The Lone (Conservative) Atheist  brought this to our attention in a comment.  The ABC news story notes: "Those who are coming have the highest level of education — these aren't people who can't get a job in the states," he says. "They're coming because many of them don't like the politics, the Iraq War and the security situation in the U.S. By comparison, Canada is a tension-free place. People feel safer."  The underlying tone of which is, "smart people hate fascist Bush, dumb ones stay."  One erstwhile labor organizer from Seattle explains:

"Canada is a really nice country. My mother is thinking about it. My stepfather has diabetes and has health issues. So, he'd be taken care of for free if he moved up here."

Of course most of us are glad to be rid of twits like this.  I would gladly exchange a hard working legal Mexican immigrant on a one-to-one basis with all of them.  I mean that, they'll be better Americans.  But that's not what this is about.  There are several hundred comments on this story.  Here's one from  puppyfeet217 that touched my soul.

Now I'm heading to my nice Canadian socialist bed, where I'll dream of my nice socialist healthcare system that has -- surprisingly -- kept myself and my family in amazingly good health considering we have to wait in line 8 years just to get a sliver pulled out of our thumb and I'll get up tomorrow and go pay $4. per litre for gas on the way to my job where I have to work 70 hours per week just to pay the 65% tax rate that we Canadians are burdened with. All the while, bemoaning the fact that I am SO jealous of Americans and the fact that the States is the ONLY country in the entire world where you can make something of yourself, which is why all other countries around the globe have nothing but abject poverty and squalor. *sigh* God life is so unfair!!!Oh say can you see, by the dawn's early light......

They fail to mention that these idjits moving north are likely all dhimmocrats. Good riddance.

Don't forget about this part of the article . . .

"Last year, 23,913 Canadians moved to the United States . . . ."

Bring the maple syrup.

You dirty ba***rds have been dumping your genetic trash, and taking our best and brightest, for too long. Time to invade and burn the White House. Again.

Note also that Canada has 1/9 the population of the USA. So the number of Canadian refugees to the USA needs to be multiplied by 9 to adjust for that reality.

Please invade. Be sure to burn down the capital building as well.

We will also trade you the western provinces and territories for NY, NJ, MA, CT, RI, and Chicago.

I'm all for Dhimmocraps/Libtards to move to Canaduh. Just remember to take their (US) passport before they leave to ensures that its a one-way trip.

You really need to warn us before linking to "We're so Sorry".

That bunch of God-foresaken hippie misfits really makes me mad.

They need to have their heads shaved and dropped off at the front gate of Camp LeJeune.

Or perhaps, better yet, at the front gate of Gitmo.

Speaking hippies, check out Captain Broadsword's epistle on my favorite topic (hippie hunting)http://www.nerra.com/broadsword/archives/2004/07/24/232/hippie-hunting-a-philosophy/.

At least we have all the guns.

First I'd like to congratulate my self for bringing this story to people attention... Seriously though, if it weren't for http://www.proudtobecanadian.ca, I wouldn't have known it.

Anyways, back to the matter at hand.

I've said this before, if there are any Texans looking to sponsor a refugee... Please sponsor me before I start slaying liberals. lol

No link, but was seeing someone suggesting that the newly prosperous tar sand oil fields in Alberta may have something to do with this. Anyway, ten thousand people not a whole lotta people. Drop in the bucket. I bet Rodg got that many readers ;)

Of course the booming business of extracting oil from tar sands in the Western provinces didn't contribute one bit. Nobody moves that far north for mere money. Everyone moved for "political" and "social" reasons... yeah right.

Trust me on one thing. Alberta is Canada's equivalent of Texas...
