Border Fence Funding Hoax of 2006 and 2007

How Congress And The President Are Working Behind-The-Scenes To Un-Do The Secure Fence Act

UPDATE 12/20--Last night Congress passed the omnibus Consolidated Appropriations bill -- which includes the Hutchison Amendment that guts the Secure Fence Act. Last month, Grassfire.org's research staff broke this story. Thanks to the continued efforts of our team members who made tens of thousands of phone calls and sent thousands of faxes, the story finally broke through in the national media.

World Net Daily's Jerome Corsi was the first in the media to tackle the issue. In the days leading up to the final vote, members of Congress and media outlets were repeating talking points first developed by Grassfire. As a result, although the bill passed, the Border Fence Funding Hoax has been exposed. Here is a list of articles and resources which chronicle how the Funding Hoax was exposed:

These people ... these lawmakers -- our supposed representatives, have become finical in their effort to thwart what is clearly a national mandate to stop the freaking invasion, and to kick the current illegals the hell out of our country.  So, what's the answer?  What?  You think you can vote them out of office?  Try it.

Mutha****ers. It's pretty scary when the overwhelming majority, of both parties, want this and yet our "representatives" are obviously treading water, waiting for this issue to either kinda blow over or have something else take center stage.

These MoFos want the millions of illegals. They need them. First, do nothing to impede the flow. Second, get some kind of path to citizenship in the works. Than get them on the taxrolls.

*uck America *uck national security *uck our culture Sickening

Fred Thompson is the only one who has said his number one point is no amnesty, Tancredo is gone and Hunter doesn't have a realistic chance. The 4 top guys all say, hey they're here, lets make a deal.

I'm off to Iowa after Christmas to help Fred. I swear if Huck gets the nod, I will vote for Hillary.

Good for you MM! I had considered doing the same - settled for sending money and making phone calls.

The only good thing about Huckabee's rise has been now Romney doesn't look so bad (if I can't have my man Fred!).

Merry Christmas!

Rodger, "who's next" on your catharsis.WMV is counterfeit Republicans, as Alan Keys calls them. Take them out also for me.
Immigration is a huge issue and I'm currently, shall we say, GREATLY DISAPPOINTED in our president on this matter. He's a traitor on this issue. There. I said it.

MM, if Huckleberry HoundDog got the nomination, I could easier vote Obama before Hella-Evil.

TFV, Hey! I've not thrown my hat into the ring for any of the remaining. I do not like Romney, and yes his religion is huge with me. South Park did a Mormon episode that was pure truth! Honestly, they are not Christians, but a cult, for their denial of the deity of Jesus Christ.

Fred is good. I could even vote 'for' Giuliani, rather than against a Lib traitor. I've always respected what he did for NY as a prosecutor and mayor. I'm sick of hearing about divorces of candidate as a reason not to elect them. It's bs. Especially when the biggest accusers are a pack of RBMF thieves, liars, and destroyers of any thing holy and clean.

Juice,

If Huck gets the nomination, we have completely abandoned our conservative principles. If we're going to put our country in the crapper, than I'd rather see a dem leading the descent. I am serious as a heart attack. I'll support even McCain or Romney, but not Huck

MM,
Yeah, I get you. I think. It is the saddest of situations that Republican is no longer defined as conservative. The party has stepped in line (just behind) Liberals, as a middle of the road option. I yearn for an American Conservative Party based on principal. Alas, John McCaine is not someone I want to see in the White House, as he's proved to be more Dem than Rep.

Voting for Spawn of Satan is NOT an option. One of the reasons we are STUCK with La Pelosi and her band of Merry Highwaymen is because of that kind of thinking.

I will vote for Thompson, Romney or McCain. Huckabee scares the hell out of me (another ARKANSAS governor?) and Ron Paul is certifiable. Giuliani ultimately is someone who doesn't honor his commitments - as he has proven by his multiple marriages.

Preventing herself from re-occupying the White House is of paramount importance. Keeping her senile, bloviating gasbag of a husband from further dishonoring the White House is also most urgent!

For months, on several right of center blogs, I have been arguing that if indeed Rudy got the nod, I would support him. The arguments I got from the folks I was debating with for sitting out the election if Rudy was the standard bearer came down to conservative principles and I would counter with it was paramount that Her Filthyness be kept out of the WH.

So it's funny now to understand what they meant when they said it's better to stick to your principles. Huck is a Huckster and I only can hope it's the high percentage of evangelicals in Iowa that is giving him this boast. I will not vote for him.

Mine are Coburn and Inhofe. I am proud of them. You have to make your own excuses. I don't need any.
