I am in 100% areggment with LindaSoG. McCain must not win and she's nailed the reason: the R party will get the blame for what happens next. Our only hope now is for the most liberal incompetent possible to win so the backlash will go in our direction, just like Carter to Reagan. Vote Obama, it's the only way to save us. Think long-term, people!

I see where you're coming from, Anon , because I've been there. But that line of thinking may be translated into "I don't care if the country tanks, as long as democrats are blamed for it."
I can't make myself go there.
Until some act of god, or twist of fate eliminates the current democrat party from the face of this earth, they must never be allowed to hold the reins of power in this country, no matter what.

Rog, The moment McCain locked the nomination we were screwed. Our choices are moderate liberal, socialist, and far-left socialist incompetent. If I'm forced to vote for a liberal I want the worst one possible. McCain's brand of liberalism lite is far more dangerous than what the Dems offer. If he's successful we'll end up like Europe where McCain would be considered a far right winger- no real conservative option will get a chance. If he wins and badly screws up nobody with the R will win for a very long time. Our only hope is to let this country get a belly full of Socialism run by an incompetent and hope they throw up.
We can survive 2 years until the Good Guys can retake Congress and hold the tide until 2012. It's harsh medicine, I know. Save America, Destroy the Democrats, Vote for Obama.
