Fainting kids, John McCain

STUFF

Here are two Limbo items I tucked away from last week - before they get too stale.

Global Warming: Child Faints at Arnold Speech

RUSH: Well, now, ladies and gentlemen, the children are fainting.  "Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger helped a student who fainted at a speech in Sacramento."  I don't have the video here, but there's a kid there on the left side of the screen.  "You can see him waver a bit, and then pass out. The Governor immediately went over to help.  The boy and the Governor got a chance to talk later in the nurse's office. The student told the Governor he blames global warming for the incident."  He blamed global warming for fainting.  I kid you not.

I'm willing to file a class action lawsuit against the media and AlGore for child abuse if someone is willing to represent me and do all the legal work for free.  I think there's about $50 billion in damages to be pocketed.

McCain Takes Aim at the Swift Boat Vets

RUSH: I saw this last week. It was on Little Green Footballs -- apparently McCain had gone after the Swift Boat Vets for Truth, suggesting that they had been unfair or unkind or what have you, to Kerry and so forth -- and he was continuing his theme that that kind of thing is not necessary in politics.  I don't think anybody has refuted one claim of Swift Boat Veterans for Truth made, that I'm aware of.  Has anybody said that what they said about Kerry was not true?  I don't think so.  Besides, aren't the Swift Boat Vets for Truth heroes as well, as John Kerry was?

My ears pricked in 2004 when McCain came to Kerry's defense against the Swift Boaters (Kerry has still not released his mil records).  My feeling then, and even more now, is that true to form McCain was looking out for his own best interests.  McCain-Feingold is a prime example, where McCain trashed the First Amendment in order to deflect future criticism over his role. in Keating Five.  In this instance, Kerry is aware of a group of fellow POW who allege misconduct by McCain while he was held prisoner.  I'm not for an instant saying the stories are true, just that McCain is the center of his universe (a trait held by all Senators), and has no problem doing wrong if it helps McCain - another trait held in common by the three U.S. Senators running for president.

Didn't mcvain get turned while he was a guest of the NVA?

In theory he had done 30 some off propaganda ?films? for the NVA?!? Would like to hear from some people actually interested in *truth* on that matter.

If that is indeed true, no wonder he is covering for one of the two greatest slimballs from the 60s, skerry.

Disgusting lot all.

There is a mind-boggling book about one of the few POW's held in S. Vietnam. Literally for years in a bamboo cage. The name of the book is "Why Didn't You Get Me Out". This book is worth reading for his perspective on the rank/power structure games that existed in the "Hilton" where he was eventually held for his last year. He's no fan of McCain and his cronies.

Give it a read.

Thanks OR, I just read a few pages on Google, and ordered a copy on Amazon. The author's last name is Anton.

Respectfully, unless you have been held in captivity and manipulated, you don't have a fcuking clue about what a POW does or does not do to survive.

McCain and every other POW gets a pass from me on anything done while in enemy hands.

OTOH - he's a nitwit on the border, first amendment and a host of other issues.

I will hold my nose and vote R because to vote D is to vote for more socialism and the chance of a more left leaning Supreme court.

After the Kelo decision, it's obvious to me that we have a LOT to lose.

I will not repeat the Perot Mistake that allowed Klinton to get elected.
