Very good, likewise, "Any fool may carry-on. It takes wisdom to know when to shorten sail." ~Masefield

Yeah, keep on thinking that. Sailors without sails.....or functional rudder, anchor.....but why go on? In a word, I think it's all on SS Vista. HARDEHAR.

And yet strangely, the sailboats are more inclined to crash....

Dad, Dad, Dad. This is your son - of the same name. I maligned mac people too, alot. Yet after 10 years on the pc, I switched to mac about a year ago (only because work paid for it) and 4 months later... I switched my home computer to mac also. I did it, because, thanks to you, I'm a sailboater. Those two photos actually provide an accurate analogy, yet I promise you, the power boat picture shows what it feels like to use a pc.

Yes macs are sexy and expenive, but the only reason to switch is because the apple interface engineers are working at near genius level...and they don't put the doorknob next to the hinges.

My iMac came with 4 parts. A 24 inch screen, keyboard, mouse and 1 power chord. I plugged in the lone chord to set it up--and well--that was it. I nearly shit myself. There is no setup. I was even online already--it found my router without a single keystroke. And the glory list gets longer...much longer.

So a better analogy than boating would be that mac users like using a can opener to open cans, instead of using a swiss army knife.

If I could afford it, I would have already bought you one. And you will love it like your 5th child.

PS. New thing I just discovered - Apple puts ALL the system info in one spot- so you can upgrade the Operating System without having to install new drivers for your sail boat or can opener.
