Gore's Climate Advocacy Now Playing in Movie Theaters
Just Shut Up and Like it.
In case you don't see Algore as the Martin Goebbels of the "New World Order," this ....

As part of a deal with the movie advertisement agency ScreenVision, the Alliance for Climate Protection -- founded by Gore in 2006 -- is airing advertisements, conversations about conservation, and a short animated feature called "Sky is Falling" at 7,000 theater screens nationwide.

The "Go Green" video package runs before the movie begins, alongside advertisements for local goods and services.

Movie-goers also hear energy-saving tips. They're urged to use push lawnmowers and compact fluorescent light bulbs; to do only full loads of laundry, switch off lights and appliances when they're not needed, and use less heat or air conditioning.

"Of course it would be great if everyone had a hybrid car," a spokesman adds.

The pre-show bundle also includes an animated feature from Current TV -- the cable news channel also founded by the former vice president.

The segment, entitled "Sky is Falling," says the United States in 2006 produced 5.8 billion tons of carbon dioxide, the weight-equivalent of 1.2 million elephants. As animated elephants fall from the sky, causing terror in the city below, the animated video says, "It's time to stop ignoring the 1.2 million elephants in the room."

Grrrrr

The movie industry is already tanking, and now I have one more reason to not go to a theater. Sheesh.

Roger, I see the secret message in the corner, your wish is my command, I'll need to get a comp check for all the movie tickets...

"Algore as the Martin Goebbels"

A combination of Martin Bormann and Joseph Goebbels?

Works for me. Joseph was, of course, the Nazi Propaganda Minister.

Bormann was Adolf's private secretary. Where other people might put down a few bucks on the expense account for parking, he'd put down a few thousand for building a parking lot. And he never provided a receipt. Kind of reminds me of Al's "The rest of you cut back to stop global warming, I'm tossing another endangered tree into my fireplace" lifestyle.

And adding to the fun, scientists are now back to predicting a new "ice age"! Old Al is about to become the butt (and a large one at that) of a lot of jokes! But he won't care because he has fleeced the public of millions of dollars, won an Oscar and a Nobel prize, so he'll slink off into obscurity believing he actually mattered.

Dear merciful heavens, and this arrogant numbskull was actually almost our president! With this guy in the Democratic Party, how on earth do Dems have the "stones" to call GWB dumb? The mind reels.

Wanna bet that the same propaganda shows up on the DVD versions of the movies when they are released for home use. And they probably find a way to prevent fast forwarding.
