The Light Col missed one important fact. The Schuylkill is a long way from Johnstown's infamous Conemaugh River. Of course, America's most famous traitorous congressman may have been visiting his boyhood home and jumped off the New Martinsville bridge into the Ohio.

Sorry gadfly, the Schuylkill was the first Pennsylvania river name that jumped into my mind, not knowing where it was relative to Murtha's haunts. I'll have to google more often ;>D
