I seldom, if ever, post stuff like this letter from a guy named Ron.

Pain
in my lower back today, so I just sorta sat around a lot, reading blogs
and articles and commentary of various types. For weeks now I’ve been
waiting for the blush to abandon the rose of Barackolatry and expose
the thorns, but it doesn’t seem to be happening. His pied-piper
mystique still attracts Bush-bashers, moonbats, and sufferers of white
guilt for some strange reason although he has no bona fides to back up
his grandiose but ambiguous promises.
For over 50 years now I’ve read and heard various iterations and
adaptations of the fact that a man is known by the types of friends he
seeks, the way he presents himself, the types of entertainment he
prefers, the examples he offers to prove his points, the books he
reads, the way he conducts his family life, and so on.
Well, in that first category, Obama has defined himself as a person who
is both suspicious and contemptuous of white America. His long-term
relationship with an anti-America minister who publicly and officially
announced his preference for things African; his association with an
anti-America radical who publicly and officially announced his support
for reparations by whites to blacks and for black supremacy; and his
marriage to a woman whose initial public and official statement as an
adult was essentially a condemnation of treatment of black students by
white academia paint him into a corner surrounded by glaring stains in
nightmarish patterns.
Wright and Farrakhan notwithstanding, Michelle Robinson’s master’s
thesis at Princeton had nothing good to say about white people in
general and white teachers in particular, despite the fact that most
were liberals. I haven’t read the entire thing because the only copies
I can find on the web are pdf files, and I detest that document format
as a Satanic invention designed to frustrate researchers and casual
readers. What summaries and excerpts I have found indicate a definite
distaste for traditional American values, institutions, and customs.
She seems to be a driven and diligent student and worker as well as a
dedicated and loving mother. In the 3 or 4 interviews I’ve seen her
give so far, she comes across as an alert, responsive, intelligent,
knowledgeable, clever, stylish, and physically attractive woman. But
beneath the surface I sense a strong distrust of and deep disgust for
white society at every level. In fact, I suspect she is equally none
too thrilled with the majority of black people in America, reserving
her respect and fellowship for only those in her own narrow stratum of
wealth, power, and fame. Her demeanor suggests to me a manipulator,
conniver, and condescender.
If I’m wrong, well c’est la vie. But something in her eyes, her
carriage, her published opinions broadcasts a skeptical disposition, a
guarded manner, a cautious association with all but a few close,
trusted, old friends. Her whole approach to life appears to be
calculating and constructed, completely self-sufficient, and not really
a whole lot of natural or spontaneous enjoyment.
What I see coming next January is a young man with absolutely no
experience in leadership or management, particularly in such critical
areas as international affairs, economics, budgeting, and negotiation,
at any level. He could be the quintessential greenhorn riding into a
dangerous frontier town with the voices of rebels, troublemakers, and
cynics ringing in his ears. And at day’s end, when he needs the comfort
and counsel of a dependable and trustworthy partner, the analysis and
advice he’ll get will be tinged with contempt, bitterness, and
misgiving.
Somehow that doesn’t seem a good duo to pilot over the world’s most
powerful military, most established economy, and most productive
culture since the time of Pericles in the most dangerous of times since
the Inquisition.
