My parents came out with my niece and nephew 2 years ago. So I do the family thing and take 'em into DC for 'The Tour'. We're heading out to Arlington National Cemetery and the tour trolley stops in front of the Roosevelt monument. Pops asks if we want to get out and take a look. I respond back, "What the Hell do I want to get out and take a look at a monument to a commie and a lesbian for?"
Half the trolley (and especially my dad) were ROTFLTAO and the other half had a puzzled look on their face. -
