On the occasion
of her fourth marriage, an 84-year old woman was interviewed by local
media. The reporter asked questions about her life, what it felt
like to marry at her age, and what her new husband's occupation was?
"He's a funeral director," she replied. "My first husband, who I
married in my twenties, was a banker. The second, twenty years later
was a circus ringmaster, and at age sixty-two I wed a preacherman."
The interviewer commented on the diversity of occupations, and she
responded. "Yes, I married one for the money, two for the show, three
to get ready, and four to go."
