The lesson is, Juice, never judge a mammal by it's wings and teeth that are so sharp you won't notice as they suck the essence from your milky white neck, just above your ... whoa! Getting carried away here boss. Whew.

Hate bats. Had a bunch of them in Santa Paula (CA) and was glad when I sold the house. The are UGLY...

Those are NOT your standard bat. They are "flying foxes", fruit bats, whichever name you prefer. I've wanted to figure out how to get one of those as a pet for $)+ years. First time I ever saw one of those, I thought they were just such freaking cool critters. Cute!

We have bats in our trees and we love them. We put our house deep in the woods, a quarter mile back near a pond and the bats keep the mosquitos and other bugs well in check. They are incredible insect hunters. Some estimates are in excess of 500 kills per bat per night. I just know that I can sit outside and there isn't much in the line of biting bugs. Thank you bats.
