Then by my calculation it's more like 10-15 points ahead, which is as it should be against this sock puppet.  However, I didn't need to be seeing this.  For one thing, it's bound to give McGoo more purchase to name some dickweed of a VP, on the order of  Tom Ridge (shudder), or Al Lieberman.  That's why I was so disappointed to learn from my Alaska Brigade that Alaka Gov. Sarah Palin is just another tax and spend liberal. What a great pick that was for a few seconds. With Bobby Jindal apparently out of it, I frankly don't know who I'd pick myself. Well, John Bolton yeah, but I mean someone McGoo would actually consider. The other thing that bothers me is this news gives new impetus to the "Dump Obama" movement by Hillary supporters going into the convention.  Wait.  Strike that.  Either one is unelectable, in any scenario you'd care to paint other than Obama's untimely death in a plane accident.  All things considered, I still want to jump off a cliff, but not such a high one as it could be.
