It's not okay to say you're sorry

Today's PC Apology
boo-hoo

Nike pulled one of its ads for their new Hyperdunk basketball shoe after criticism from gay rights activists, and apologized for being homophobes, even though they didn't want to be.  Earlier, Mars Candy pulled a Snickers  commercial " featuring Mr T harassing a speed walker for being a "disgrace to the man race" after US complaints that it was offensive to gay people."  That advertisers feel the need to apologize because a few perpetually offended  gaywads - er jerkoffs er ...  idiots complain is another indication that we've become a nation of pansies er - sissies er - Europeans.

It's not that gays don't have a sense of humor.  Rick & Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple in All the World "derives much of its humor from stereotype: lesbians who yearn to get home to grout tubs and ones who seek “nondenominational cleanser, (NYT)” and the clip I watched cracked me up.  But if this is leading up to a demand for reparations, two words. Eat me.

It always confuses me somehow that some 'man' can put another man in his mouth, but a joke is too much for him to handle.

And what *I* find so confusing is how these groups purport to speak for all homosexuals, when in fact they do not. I know. I happen to be one.

(I don't use the term "gay". I am old enough to remember when the phrase "happy and gay" was redundant).
