Pelosi rats flee

Blame fleeing rats
Democrats bail on Pelosi

Here's the final roll call vote for Pelosi's bailout.  Democrats did not need a single Republican vote to pass this thing, but got 65.  So why did it fail?  Ninety-five Democrats voted NO.  (Here's the state-by-state)

ASIDE: I notice that several actual commies were among democrat Nay sayers (Abercrombie, Shelia Jackson-Lee, Kucinich).  I'm guessing  they were afraid the damn thing might actually work, and save the country.

Same thing happened over the amnesty thing, their inboxes got so jammed with pitchforks and torches they didn't see half of the outrage. This close to an election, they are paying more attention to us.

I doubt emails ever even get to a human.

weirder yet, the dem is Shelley Berkeley, a party wench always. I have the feeling this was rigged so they could blame the repubs when things go to poop. I don't believe the bailout would work anyway. There are numbers like $100 trillion going around for the global loss and this wouldn't dent it. Sure, it would make happy on wall street for a little while and then I think everything would just tank. The near future looks a wee bit bleak. Gotta go buy a Ruger10/22 for squirrels and rabbit soon.

Nancy now has the failed bill as cover and an issue that is working for her in the polls. Later, with help from her friends in the media, she can bring up a bill worse than the Dodd scheme and pass it on party lines.

Some day we may wished we had ordered that crap sandwich with a side of flies.
