SNL SubPrime

SNL Grudgingly On-Target
Subprime Bailout

I was just now blown away by this SNL parody of the subprime mess.  Included was acknowledgment that congressional democrats caused it, that most of the defaulted loans were held by speculators, and bums.  They even nailed Herbert and Marion Sandler, and captioned them "people who ought to be shot!" The Sandler's were followed by the owner of the Demoncratic Party, George Soros. Horry Clap!
Even what I took to be a superfluous lead-in, using a dim-witted President Bush, accurately portrayed the Left's conceit that he's an idiot, and they're not.

PS ... Where was Christopher Dodd?

PPS - 10-7-08: NBC Lawyers edited the skit and removed the "Herbert and Marion Sandler ought to be shot" caption. That does not mean they should not be shot, however.

PPPS- Edited SNL subprime video also happens to excise Barney Frank’s involvement

Doddering Dodd yes, but where was Obama? Complete the circle, and Tony Rezko will show up, in an O.J. sort of way:

"Rezko's low-income housing empire began crumbling in 2001, when his company stopped making mortgage payments on the old nursing home that had been converted into apartments. The state foreclosed on the building -- which was in Obama's Illinois Senate district."
