Barney's Revenge



The American Taxpayer Credit Card is not for everybody.  Please be advised that we have rejected your application. If you wish to appeal this decision, contact Rep. Barney Frank (D MA), or Sen. Chris Dodd (D CT).  It's called dancing with them what brung you here.   Au revoir, it's been grand, but not 3,500,000,000 of them.

Enough with this whole bailout gig. We need more Schumpeterian "Creative Destruction". GM can't stay in business? Screw them, let them go under. Let someone else fill their niche. If the bailouts continue, we'll never see a bottom to this recession.

Last I heard, some Hispanic plumbers union wants a piece of the pie. Sheesh.

Time to pull a John Galt? I'm sitting here thinking, there's almost nothing I need I can't get from the black market.

Water? I'm in Ohio, least of the problems.

Electricity? I know how to connect and maintain a generator. Problem will be how to keep that sucker lit.

Heat? See electricity.

Food? I have items and skills I can barter on said market.

Shelter? Fuck you, I'm one the few who actually pays his mortgage. Plus I have weapons. Don't tempt me.

I'm not yet John Galt, but perhaps a close cousin.
