"People Who Should Be Shot" - SNL

"It's the most disgusting failure of people in our business since the Iraq war," Halperin said at a panel of media analysts. "It was extreme bias, extreme pro-Obama coverage."

Halperin, who maintains Time's political site "The Page," cited two New York Times articles as examples of the divergent coverage of the two candidates.

What the hell do you mean "He didn't pass the challenges on to a future generation"? Of course he did.

He had an agrarian South that didn't completely recovery from the devastations of the Civil War and Reconstruction until the 1980s. He had racial tensions and divisions that didn't even begin to resolve until the 1950s.

Like the global war against Izlamic Terrorism, he had massive problems left unfinished at his death. It wasn't his fault or moral short coming. They were simply massive cultural and economic problems.

Abe was one of the three best presidents the U.S. has ever had. But for someone to say he "made it all better" ignores the facts.

Eisenhower had to send armed, Federalized Airborne troope into the South to begin to quell those tensions, and even though the troops have gone, some of the tensions remain.

The question is, where will we be in four years? More troops in Selma and Montfomery? In Tulsa? In Detriot? In Boulder or Texarkana?

After stabbing Bush, our troops, our Christianity and our dignity in the back with rusty knives over the past eight years (short term wise), here's our press expressing thier kum dripping love for THE One... sixty days out and already a phuking savior.
Good phuking grief! Why I can barely view the news these days, including most blogs. Ain't got the stomach for it.

Believe it or not, Obama is appointing a cabinet consisting of many rivals in the spirit of Lincoln.
